Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 - Migration of your Applications, Files and Settings from an Old PC to a New PC - Data Transfer Software - With Optional High Speed Ethernet Cable - 1 License

This is the best way to transfer large amounts of data from one PC to another. I recently replaced my aging machine and this product made the entire process seamless. In may case, I did this over our home network, both computers plugged in, and I just let it perform the transfer over the course of a day (I had a lot of data). This product handles the situations where I had multiple drives as well. It is easily configurable and customizable or you can use the predefined options to do your transfer. When you are done, this package also provided me with software to securely erase all the data from my old machine in such a way no one could recover it. This final step made it easy to then recycle the old machine without worrying about someone obtaining my personal information.

I highly recommend this software product to migrate your documents, photos, etc. from Windows10 to a Windows 11 machine. (Windows10 support is going away soon). In fact, I bought two copies of PCmover because I had two Windows 10 computers that could not be updated to Windows 11. I did the migration of my laptop first. I did this over wifi and the PCmover did the job overnight! It worked great. My wife uses an All in One computer and she saves everything. I started to do this also over wifi;. The time estimate over wifi was 25 hours, but the process stopped at some point with some error message. I was able to get support from the Laplink team right away via a chat. I was advised that I could restart the new computer, do the migration with the supplied ethernet cable. I was told to stop PCmover on both machines and then start it up again on both machines. With the ethernet cable, the time estimate was just 2 hours! I restarted the PCmover application on both machines and it worked seamlessly! I am really impressed with the support I received at Laplink - with very knowledgeable and helpful folks walking me though the process (and not some AI bot as some companies use for chat).

With two relatively new pcs (2024 & 2025) Dell & HP, there were no Ethernet connections, so the cable was useless. Connection by Wi-Fi worked fine except Outlook email didn't carry over too well and I have a problem configuring the new pc Outlook and getting Norton to install...my problem. Very easy to use and worth the cost.

This was a breeze to use and the customer service is outstanding. My computer on the other hand....room could use another window. After using a service to transfer data with my last computer upgrade, I decided to give it a try myself. This sounded real easy. Hook up and follow directions. Yep, can do that. Did that, the transfer went with no problems. Then the new computer updated and froze me out. Completely. Lost ability to connect to wi-fi, Windows laughed at me and called me names (I know it, I heard it, not going crazy(ier)). Had to call the service I used last time to get the new computer to actually work and they transferred some things over. Not a full mirror image like I wanted, but enough to irritate me with all the re-inputting of passwords, addresses, etc. So, figured I'd go ahead and try the Laplink again, with fingers crossed that the new computer wouldn't have another tantrum. One problem though. The Laplink serial number is a one time use, and I couldn't just do a re-do. Didn't like that much, after all I didn't actually get to use the transferred data, what with the computer becoming a doorstop. Figured it couldn't hurt to contact Laplink, explain the situation and ask for guidance. Hey! Blind squirrel time! Was actually right. Didn't hurt at all. In fact, Laplink was extremely helpful. Gave me a new serial number so I could do the transfer again. Did it, done it, all in right with the world (almost). Still having computer problems, but absolutely nothing to do with the quick and easy transfer that Laplink provides. I highly recommend using this (I got the one with the USB cable) to transfer all you data from one computer to another. New set up is a mirror of the old one, set up just like I like it, no muss.
