skinChemists Advanced Bee Venom Facial Serum

The mere fact that this product was originally on the market for 145.00 and is now under 20 tells you all you need to know about high end skin products, though I understand that milking the bees must be a bit of a fiddly job. However, at the present price, it's actually less than the serum I usually buy from a high street chemists, so I'm reviewing it on that level. If it was 145 quid, I'd expect to look about 11 after I'd used it.On that level, then, it's pretty good. You get an immediate sensation of tightness and you only need a small amount, and the ingredients are a good range of generally accepted skin enhancers - the bee venom, honey extract, fruit acids. Nice bottle, too. You can't claim long-lasting effects on a few days testing of course, but I'd definitely consider using this regularly if the price stayed at this point.

I love this! It goes on easily and sinks into my skin quicker than any other serum I have seen! My skin looks and feels great and best of all, it doesn't make me shiny. My skin loves bee venom products so I have high hopes for this. I think it is going to be great for my skin.

I have to admit I'm still not sold on the idea of a product using bee venom but this has a pleasant honey like smell and I found it spreads very nicely over the skin so you don't need to use a huge amount to cover both your face and neck. The cream takes a little while to fully soak in and my face looks quite shiny after I first apply it but that fades with time and doesn't bother me when I'm using it before bed, it does mean I wouldn't add it to my morning routine though.As for an anti-aging affect I can't say I noticed a huge difference over my other, much less expensive, face creams. This product seems very overpriced for what it is and I'm happy to stick with my cheaper options that do just as good a job

The texture is light and easy to apply and for the skin to absorb. It has a slight odor which reminded me of chemicals.The effects are not immediate, but after two weeks of using it in the morning and evening my skin feels smoother and softer, but I would have liked more plumping of the skin.Like their other products, the packaging here is unremarkable, and the supporting literature non-existent. It doesn't really bely the cost of the product.This product, although good, was not as impressive as their 'advanced wrinkle killer snake serum', which excelled.

Don't be put off by the bee venom in this product (my other half wasn't keen), anyway she loves Protect & Perfect from Boots but has been trying this and is very pleased with the results, it goes on very easily, absorbs almost instantly and she said definitely leaves a nice finish and feel than Boots own product which she has used for a year. Smells very nice as well and overall very impressed.

This is a gel rather than a cream and smells quite strong initially.It made my skin feel smooth and a little tighter but this was really only a temporary effect. I didn't irritate my skin but I didn't like the tightening effect and was glad to use moisturiser on top. I can't say there was any real improvement in my skin over the 3 weeks I have used it. I think I'll leave the bee venom to the bees.

I can not totally complete the review until i have used this for some while to see if it works but I will make a start.I did my patch test and all is well 28 hours later.So I have started using the serum.It has a lovely texture and almost no scent . I LOVE THAT!!! STOP putting scents in face and skin breams please. This one is perfect.1 hour later my face feels fresh and tingly. Nice smooth feel to my face and neck, too.I have had other things from this company and really, really like their products so far.The packaging is lovely .. it is attractive in slim , tall bottles with a gentle and efficient pump. Nice looking and very easy to store and to pack. So far have loved everything I have used. All light fresh and make my skin feel great.I will post agin when I know how it goes. I never fail to do this so watch this space.

This is the 2nd product I've tried from the skinChemists Advanced Bee Venom range and whilst I wasn't wowed by the moisturiser I really do like this. The clear gel is easily dispensed from the 30ml pump in a bead size and goes on easily, absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling really soft.After using for just a few days I really do like it and its certainly worth stocking up if its on special offer as it is now. For the full price I'd be hard pressed to justify the cost.
