A Family Favorite That’s Still Going Strong After Four Years!
I purchased the Philips Premium Airfryer XXL four years ago, and it’s been a total game-changer for my family. We still use it several times a week, and every one of us—kids and adults alike—absolutely loves it. From crispy fries to juicy chicken wings, this air fryer has become a kitchen MVP that’s held up beautifully over time. It’s hands down one of the best appliances we’ve ever owned, and I can’t imagine cooking without it!Pros:• Incredible Durability: Four years of frequent use, and it’s still running like a champ! The build quality is top-notch—the sleek black finish looks as good as new, and all the components are holding strong.• Fat Removal Magic: The Twin TurboStar technology really works—we’ve enjoyed healthier meals with up to 90% less fat, and the food still tastes amazing. It’s a guilt-free win for the whole family!• XXL Capacity: This thing is huge! It easily fits a whole chicken or enough fries for all five of us in one go. Perfect for family dinners or hosting friends.• Versatile and Easy: We’ve air-fried, roasted, grilled, and even baked with it. The controls are intuitive, and cleanup is a breeze thanks to the dishwasher-safe basket (though we usually just wipe it down).• Consistently Delicious Results: Crispy on the outside, tender inside—every time. It’s foolproof, even when the kids take over the cooking!Cons:• Size Takes Up Space: It’s an XXL model, so it does claim a chunk of counter space. Not a dealbreaker for us, but worth considering if your kitchen is tight.• Slight Learning Curve Early On: It took a few tries to nail the timing for some recipes four years ago (pre-internet recipe boom!), but once we got the hang of it, it’s been smooth sailing. The Philips Premium Airfryer XXL has been a rockstar in our home for four years and counting. It’s reliable, delivers mouthwatering meals, and has made healthy cooking fun and effortless. My family’s unanimous love for it says it all—this air fryer is worth every penny and deserves a glowing five stars. If you’re on the fence, just buy it—you won’t regret it!

Easiest to clean airfryer I've encountered.
I don't often leave reviews for products on here but after a couple weeks with this I had to. This is without a doubt the best airfryer I've ever had. One of the major issues I have with airfryers is just how much of a pain they are to clean. They always have annoying nooks and crannies to get into, the drawer doesn't come out, there's tight corners where crumbs will bake over and over and get stuck. Not this one though. The drawer comes completely out. While scrubbing the grate I did have a complaint about the design in that it would be so much easier to clean if the grate came out as crumbs were accumulating beneath the edges of the grate... and like magic I noticed the elbow latches keeping the grate in. The grate comes out! Holy moly is this thing easy to clean. The only complaint I can possibly have for this is that the analog knobs don't feel especially accurate. This is just a downside of analog as a whole but these knobs could have been made bigger to mark times and temperatures better. Still better than having a digital airfryer with a more limited lifetime.

A healthy delicious way to "fry"
This does not shorten cook times so be aware of that. It is just a healthy alternative cooking method and I think it was worth the money. Be cautious of potatoes and sweet potatoes because they can be cooked perfectly but if you leave them in there that heat still circulates and cooks them and when you pull them out perfect potatoes from 10 minutes ago are not so perfect, so empty your basket right away. We have been successful with potato wedges, buttermilk chicken wings, pork chops, and squash chips... also be careful of recipes requesting flour. Potato starch works better in this machine, but season the flour or starch rather than your meat directly, if you did not marinate your meat. Good luck to all.--Feb 25, 2020 UpdateBe prepared for smoke when air-frying meat. We learned to move the unit outside for the 23 minutes it takes to cook a batch of chicken wings. It's light and easy to move. Be sure it cools completely before attempting to bring it back in for cleaning.I still give it 5 stars BUT after just 2 months ALL of the numbers have just rubbed off of our timer's dial. Oil builds up on it from the cooking process so, when I wiped it clean, the numbers eventually disappeared.I ordered this one because I thought it would be easier for my oldest to make a snack than to have to program the newer digital model. If this unit ever breaks, I'm upgrading to something with digital features. I used a white out pen to rewrite the numbers on and seal with clear nail polish. Just as temporary. Our air fryer gets a lot of love. I am still pleased with the cooking times and results. I am always amazed at the amount of fat that drips from the meat but still give crispy and juicy results. It took quite a few attempts before we achieved "crispy" air fried meat. (BTW, For crispy breadless chicken wings, add 1 tsp of baking powder to your seasoning!)Because of the numbers fading away, I wouldn't get this model again or recommend it, BUT stick with Philips and go for the model with the digital features. They nailed the cooking.
