Really happy with my new lava lamp, it arrived on time with no damge. The only thing is I live in the UK, and the one I bought had a 2 Pin American plug adaption, and in the UK we have the 3 pin adaption. So i would say if you are a buyer in the Uk or europe or Japan etc. Be aware the plug uses the american 2 pin. So i had to buy a US to UK plug adaption, that arrived and it worked just fine. It takes about 5 minutes for the light bulb inside to heat the wax. When it arrived, the orange liquid appears as like a lump, this chances pretty quickly as it fires up.I would say its probably a good idea to buy some spare light bulbs, it goes for the little screw in flatish bulbs.the nice thing is it can all come apart, so if you want to change out the colour liquid you can probablyy just buy the coloursed liquid on its own and replace it. I would say screwing in the bulb was a little bit fiddly as... the based that holds up the bottle part is abit deep, and you have to screw in the bulb, so someone with big hands may have a light bit of trouble, if you have small hands it should be no trouble.the thing does get quite hot, so be sure to handle with care ,there is a warning sticker on it the base gets quite got, so when switching off let it stand for 5-10 minutes to let it cool.Over all I am very happy with my purchase, I would totally buy other varieties of colours in the future!
