Great for Camp, Used Two Years in a Row!
This Clip-on Fan has been a fantastic purchase! My kids have used it at camp for two years in a row, and it still works perfectly. The battery holds up well, and the light is just right for nighttime use. It’s quiet, provides a good breeze, and the 360° rotation makes it super versatile. The fact that it comes with 8 free AA batteries is a great bonus. Highly recommend for camping or any portable cooling needs!

Sahara Desert tested and proven!
The setting: I live in the Sahara desert. I live in a city without consistent electricity, where the highs get up to 110F/45C and the lows at night only drop to 80F/27C. The lack of consistent electricity makes sleeping inside almost unbearable when the electricity is off, so we are in desperate need of something to keep us cool during the day, but especially at night. Ceiling fans work great, but when the power gets cut at 1:30am, the sweat slowly builds and builds until our sleeping shirts end up soaked. We have solar panels and batteries, so we do have a small amount of consistent electricity. However, this involves wiring sockets all around the house, and getting special fans that can plug into DC outlets (not standard). It also means that our fan locations are stationary, so when it gets hot and we want to sleep outside, we have to choose between a solar fan and the coolness of outdoors.Enter this little miracle. I cannot emphasize more how much these little fans have impacted our lives, specifically in helping us get consistent sleep. For the short time before the hot season, we clamped 2 of these to our bed frame right over our heads. Sitting on low, the fan can run through the night twice before needing a recharge. We rarely, if ever, need to use the medium setting as the low setting blowing on our face gives us plenty of airflow. Then, in hot season, we moved our mattress outside under a mosquito net. We simply brought the box out (to elevate the fan to mattress height), and this fan sits comfortably by itself on the fan. A table would have worked also, but I preferred to just have it next to the mattress. Note, most of the other fans on the market can clamp to a pole but CAN'T stand on their own.We made it through our entire hot season without AC. Simply grab a spray bottle, wet down either (A) your pajamas or (B) a towel, put this fan on you, and sleep like a baby! Even when the temperatures weren't dipping down past 80F/27C at night is when we finally had to put the fan on medium. Even on medium, the fan still lasts all the way through the night (it's estimated at 12 hours). We use this fan to sleep, then bring it downstairs and put it on the breakfast table while we eat. We use it downstairs on our cushions for nap, and while we study/work. These little fans go almost everywhere we do in the house, and I can't imagine what we'd do without them!

It comes with batteries. No need to buy extra batteries.
This portable fan is truly amazing. Comes with 2 packs of 4 AA batteries (8 AA batteries total). It puts out good airflow, and it can be clamped to anything and/or use it by placing it in a flat surface! I would highly recommend this item if you are looking for something cheap in cost and has good power.

Great for a night but uses batteries quickly
I'd say it is worth eating batteries to stay cool. The clip made it versatile and easy to et up exactly where I needed it. Strong air flow at first but after a night of staying on it slows down a lot. Easy to switch out the batteries. Fits in the space I had well and was easy to carry. Worst thing about it was how long the battery charge lasted. Burns through some batteries making it expensive to use for several nights, bit it kept me from overheating so it was worth it. My solar fan used far less batteries but wasn't as versatile without a clip like this one has. If this had a solar charge option it would get all the stars.

Great survival tool during power failure.
I bought two of these little fans , one each, for my husband and myself. When lightning from an Arizona monsoon storm knocked the power off for hours, these little fans made sitting in the dark, sweltering night bearable--- actually almost pleasant. They are quiet and powerful and run a long time simply on replaceable batteries.

Perfect for outdoor dining = additional safety
If you're a person who doesn't enjoy getting sick (so avoids eating with others you don't live with since that is a mask-free breathing moment), this may open up a few more social options of outdoor dining (so long as you can find a table away from others to blow clean air onto you). This helps to protect me from catching all the terrible things that get folks sick while I'm seated outside with others unmasked (COVID, colds, mpox, rsv, flus); all the other times I'm wearing a well sealed NIOSH-approved N95 that's fitted properly so it seals to my face.Using this fan is much easier than holding my breathe during bites / sips before putting my mask back up... also less awkward socially. If getting sick may kill someone you love and/or you may have an ICU (or possibly worse) outcome from getting sick, then doing all of the precautions available is the smart move.I'm pleased to say that nobody's kid with cancer is going to catch COVID from me being reckless with safety. This helps me to sleep at night knowing that I'm not adding to the health crisis; I know people with long COVID and I know plenty of people whose passed away who didn't have prior health issues, so I try to remember that I can do small things help folks avoid that kind of heartbreak (I refuse to be a disease spreader).I love that I can use rechargeable batteries, so if it stops, I can pop in a new set of batteries.

Meh
I really should’ve bought an electrical box fan instead. My bad. The batteries that are included only lasted a few hours. Not a problem they’re not a name brand. But when I did put a high endurance brand in, The batteries only lasted a day and a half. And that was testing the fan to be on full-time. I guess I just bought the wrong thing. Like I said I need an electrical box fan. This is not that product. I hope you have better results.
