I make many trips through the Mojave Desert and this summer I was able to put these shades to the test. The suction is great and they stay in place no matter what the orientation is on your vehicles windows. The sun is very intense while driving through the desert and I find that placing one of the darker shades on the opposite window helps with glare and heat. There were other comments on the safety of using the darker shades and that is purely subjective on several factors. Use common sense when deciding which one to use. Another point I want to clarify is that there is a small amount of obstruction using these and it is more based on the perimeter of the shade than the actual darkness factor. These can easily be placed on any window without obscuring your view. Use prudence when placing them on the "front" drivers side and passenger side of the vehicle.The shades also clean up very well and retain their suctionability and foldability. They store easily in your glove compartment and I would recommend having a set in each of your vehicles like I do!UPDATE: May 19,2024.Ok, so it's been several months since I wrote my review on the EcoNour Car Window Shades and I'm happy to say I'm very satisfied with the performance. I've had several trips through the desert and other areas where the sun constantly beats down on my vehicles windows. I'm very pleased with the results and the product itself is very durable. I should mention that they work better when the inside of your windows are clean. Also, I've cleaned the surface several times and that does help with the adhesion factor. One last thing that I'd like to point out is that when using these shades they noticeably keep the temperature in your vehicle cooler while driving through warm areas. That was a pleasant bonus that I didn't even think of....duh!UPDATE: July 6th 2024I had to make one more update on this product just so you’ll know that I’ve put these through the test. The temperature hit 115f while driving through the desert and the shades were on the sun facing side for a good 2 hours. They did not budge or come loose during the drive. If you haven’t already purchased these, please don’t wait any longer and buy a set for all your vehicles.

Bought these for a road trip during the summer for my boys in the backseat. They worked really well. You get two dark and two no so dark. I couldn’t see through it when testing them out. The sun wasn’t in their faces at all when in the car. Plus you can remove and at.

I feel they could be slightly bigger. They're light, easy to use, and seem to be of a better quality than previous buys. I like that they stick to the windows rather than go over the door or are held on by magnets. Visibility isn't the greatest. Two covers are see-through and two are thicker which I can't see out of at all. I remove them before driving. I do like the darker, thicker covers and think they'd make great blackout screens. As to the ones I have, I'd like more window coverage as it helps keep my vehicle cooler and a bit more comfortable.

I love this car sunshade! It fits perfectly on my car window and gives just the right amount of shade, especially helpful for keeping my kids cool and comfortable during drives. The purple tint is strong enough to block the sun but still allows you to see clearly outside. It’s easy to install and remove, and it doesn’t leave any marks on the window. I definitely recommend this to any parent or anyone who drives with passengers often!

To be fair the seller does state this but I really wish it was more like window tint that you could easily remove and store during the daytime. I would describe this item as being piece of plastic that does not reduce light and is a bit blurry that is covered with black pantyhose and sown to a thin wire frame. I am a truck driver and over the past few years it has become more and more difficult to drive at night as more vehicles on the road have those terribly bright LED headlights. People seem to think that because we don't have a rear window it is fine to leave their high beam on and sit just behind us in the passing lane. People do not understand that the large mirrors we have on our trucks dirrect far more light than what you get in a car. The longer the vehicle sits there, the harder it becomes for us to keep the truck centered in the lane which in turn causes them to sit there longer. Please just go by us!! Also there is no need to flash your high beams at us before passing. Trust me, we know you are there. So this is why I purchased this item. It does help to reduce brightness but it does make everything blurry. When I use them I only feel comfortable doing so on the highway. I stop and remove them once I exit the highway because you can't really see the tandems when making a turn and you definitely should not use them in a yard. They do stick to the window very well so long as you keep the plastic and your windows clean. I only use them at nighttime and this review is only for the two blinds that let some light through. I have never used the darker set. Hope this helps.

Does it's job, closest thing you'll get to window tint if you haven't got tinted windows. Easily applicable. Although they barely fit on my Dodge charger they do fit on my honda

I had the suction cup unshielded but the did not work well, fell off and impossible to stick on quickly when driving.THESE ARE WONDERFUL! Slap it one, pull it off one handed. I use them with my windshield sunblock when parking for extra coverage which keeps my steering wheel cool.I use while driving to protect my driving arm & eyes from the side window sun. Two are blackout two are sun filtering.I've had them a few months and see no signs of them losing their ability to stick and I haven't even needed to wipe them down once yet.Great investment, highly recommend.
