I purchased a supposedly low-profile door mat but my door must be still too low, so I returned it. This also claimed to be a low-profile mat in the dimensions that I needed, so this was my replacement. This works perfect - so if the gap under your door is really minimal, this probably will work. It is a nice-looking mat - and quality made. It is fairly easy to vacuum - although some things have a bit harder time getting up (like fine dog hair) - but that could be my junky vacuum cleaner. It has a heavy-duty textured rubber backing - so no skidding or marring of the wood that it is on. The 'carpeted' top is tight weave, with almost no pile, which - of course - allows for minimal height. What appears to help the most is that the outside edges are ramped/beveled, in a rubber trim. That allows for the door to slide right over the mat. My only complaint is how long it took to flatten after taking it out of the box. It came rolled and I flipped it many times to soften the rolled ends. I'd say it took almost a week to flatten satisfactorily for use. Had I put heavy objects on the ends that may have quickened the process - but I wasn't in a hurry.

We used our on the landing strip in the backyard. The texture is not too rough and gets all the muddy and rainy water off easily. It looks good, the color doesn’t fade even after cleaning and hosing it down. It’s multipurpose and can be used both inside and outside the door. The quality of the material is commendable and not flimsy.

Really thick good quality. Smaller than expected but that is my fault. Stays put without backing and durable to foot traffic. Pay attn to size-it matters.

I was pleasantly impressed by the high quality and softness of this area rug! It's slip resistant backing is a plus for added safety and appearance.

Got it for my furball, she's ancient and pees in the carpet. This carpet is superb, looks great, and doesn't keep the pee's odor. All you have to do is rinse it and let it dry in the sun for a few hours. So far, so good!

It's quite serviceable, but small, and its curling around the edges haven't gone flat in over a week.
