Buy Cheap Buy Twice
Unfortunately my unit stopped connecting to the Apple car play a little over a month after getting it. How convenient it’s 2 weeks after the return window closes. It sucks cause I can’t used it anymore and btw it’s slow. Like a cheap phone running Android OS. It use to work but suddenly decided not too. Stay away !!

Works as described
I purchased this item because it wasnt the cheapest and wasnt the most expensive one. Im glad I purchased this one over the others. Takes about 20 seconds after plugging it in. Hooks up to my bluetooth every time but I have to turn off my hotspot then back on for it to recognize my wifi. I've used this in my 2023 Ford F150 and my 2017 Camaro SS. Best part is it has no lag when watching movies. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a good device.

Es basura. No sirve para nada
Compré este equipo y no funciona para nada en un Audi Q5 2018.Plata tirada. Ni siquiera se puede configurar. No hay forma de que respondan los mandos.

Lots of room for improvement
On balance it does what it purports. There is a little bit of a learning curve and some glaring issues. My biggest complaint is that I can not queue a bunch of downloads (youtube/netflix/music) on the device and plug it in inside to let the downloads proceed from my home WiFi, not in the car.Overview:1. The device label says Herilary-c6. It looks like it is just a rebranded device.2. The interface is a little sluggish but it's not terrible.3. The USB port on the device presents itself as an iPhone. Your car needs to support CarPlay for it to work, since that is how the USB connection is set up. As far as I can tell you cant transfer data/apps to it via the USB port. You can not connect to it using adb (android debug bridge) over the USB port.4. It runs a stripped down version of android with a custom launcher (I tried installing another launcher but it's probably better just to keep the default one because it is very lightweight and fast. Nova Launcher is pretty sluggish on it.)5. To start a wireless Android Auto connection, you need to use the app SpeedPlay which is preinstalled. Connect to the device with bluetooth and open SpeedPlay and your phone will recognize it. I don't have an iPhone but I assume this is how you do CarPlay as well.6. Screen sharing is done with CarbitLink (preinstalled). You must install a partner app on your phone (also CarbitLink) and allow it to capture your screen to stream it to the device.7. I recommend installing a web browser (there is an apk downloader app preinstalled) and using that to download ReVanced Manager and use that to install ReVanced MicroG (a stripped down version of the google framework) and your choice of their modified versions of apps (adfree versions of youtube, youtube music, tiktok, etc). I wouldn't trust the preinstalled google play app with my credentials.Pros:1. It starts up fairly quickly (5-10 seconds from powering on to being able to use it).2. It runs a wide variety of Android apps.3. Expandable memory (it says it requires TF cards, but a 256GB Micro SDXC card worked fine for me)4. Very low power5. It has an included bluetooth dialer app that allows you to make phone calls from your connected phone without using Android Auto (it shows your contacts and call list, but not texts)6. (May be a con depending on your use case) the device comes with root access from the factory. The bad:1. Every time it boots, the WiFi is off by default. Some process on it constantly turns the WiFi off even when it has a WiFi connection. I went in the app settings and revoked the "manage system settings" permission for every user-level app and it still happens, so it is being done by a system app or service. I haven't found a solution for this yet. Wireless Android Auto is connected over a hotspot connection hosted by the device so it doesn't seem impacted by WiFi being toggled off. The CarbitLink app does get impacted by this.2. You can set up wireless debugging (adb over wifi), but it initializes to a random port every time, which means you have to have it plugged into your car to see what port to connect to (you can't plug it in inside the house and then connect to it wirelessly to push apps to it or whatever).3. Netflix is limited to 480p. (Netflix limits resolution of playback based on device security.) I haven't messed with the other video apps.4. No "allow app to draw over other apps" or popout/preview windows. I think this is probably because it doesn't have required GPU features.5. I think the bluetooth dialer app prevents other bluetooth devices from working properly (I can pair with it through the Android bluetooth interface but paired devices don't seem to work.) I was going to pair a bluetooth controller and see if it could run any games/emulators, but no success. My conclusion:If the processor were a bit faster, if it had about 64GB of built in storage and more than 2GB of RAM, and if the WiFi didn't constantly turn off by itself so it could stay connected to my phone's hotspot, I think I would recommend it. As it is, I think most people would find it more frustrating than useful.I am going to continue to try to get to the bottom of the WiFi issue and also see if I can figure out how to get a wireless debug session running without having to leave my car running. I will revise this review if I find anything else that might be useful to share.

Works perfectly
2023 Toyota Corolla and it works amazing. Video services like Netflix launch properly and once logged in, sync perfectly with speakers to create a mobile viewing station
