Great for getting rid of moss in lawns. It’s actually eats the moss in a relevantly short time so need to rake out the dead moss. Use between April and October. Recommend using a rotary spreader, though a hand cranked is ok if you aren’t covering a large area. Recommended by the RHS

have used before with decent results,& this order was the same.most but not all of the moss killed off & my grass looking very healthy.i have enough left for a re-application in spring so i am hopeful for a more compete result then.

Good quality product. Except to be cutting your grass more frequently after treatment takes effect.

2 and 1/2 stars really. I think this does work ok as a fertiliser for grass and, maybe, reduces moss - importantly without the appearance of black areas. However, other fertilisers work better at promoting green grass and not enough moss was cleared to make this worth the price. (It also does stink of fish meal or some such). Worth a shot but I will not be buying again.

We used the moss remover on two small lawns, it was easy to use as we had a spreader which helped to evenly distribute the granules, we did think at first it did not work as it took longer than expected but it did exactly what we expected it to do it killed the moss and then fertilised the remaining lawns, there were a few small bare patches where the moss had died back so we sprinkled some grass seeds onto them which has now germinated and we have lovely green lawns to show for it, there will be enough for us to do the same again if we need to at the end of the year, it was quite expensive initially but as there will be two applications then for us works out quite reasonable.

I recommend spreading this just before a heavy rain shower or giving grass a good watering after spreading for best results. Garden less like walking on a duvet now and looking healthier
