High-Quality L-Ornithine Supplement for Amino Acid Support
The NOW Foods L-Ornithine supplement provides 500 mg of L-Ornithine Hydrochloride per capsule, a key amino acid involved in protein metabolism, detoxification, and athletic recovery. This 120-capsule bottle is ideal for those looking to support their workout recovery, liver function, or overall well-being. I tested this supplement for ease of digestion, effectiveness, and ingredient quality over several weeks.Pros:✅ Pure L-Ornithine with no unnecessary additives✅ Non-GMO and vegetarian-friendly formula✅ Easy-to-swallow capsules with no aftertaste✅ Supports liver function and muscle recovery✅ Trusted brand with quality assuranceCons:❌ Dosage may be low for advanced users (may require multiple capsules)❌ Effects can take time to notice—not an instant energy booster❌ May not be suitable for those sensitive to amino acid supplementsPerformance and Usability:The capsules are easy to swallow, and the formula is free from artificial ingredients. L-Ornithine is known to support ammonia detoxification and muscle recovery, making it useful for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and those focused on liver health. Some brands may offer higher doses per capsule, but this 500 mg dose allows for flexible intake. It’s a better choice for those who prefer a vegetarian-friendly option.Who Is This For?:Ideal for athletes, bodybuilders, and individuals looking to support detoxification and recovery. Also beneficial for those following high-protein diets or needing additional metabolic support. Conclusion:The NOW Foods L-Ornithine supplement is a high-quality, vegetarian-friendly amino acid supplement that supports muscle recovery, liver function, and overall wellness. LOVE. People buy a Pill Crusher
1. I/we LOVE this L-Lysine. It helps with everything, literally, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!2. People, buy a pill crusher for goodness sakes! Don’t choke on the darn thing!I read so many reviews about how it got lodged in throats. Duh! Crush the darn thing, don’t risk your life for crying out loud! My husband has a damaged scarred esophagus and cannot swallow pills, ever, yet we still bought this awesome product because we know how well it works. Now go buy yourself a pill crusher and enjoy the health benefits of L-Lysine!

Been taking for a year
I split this in half and take on an empty stomach with no problem. I have a noticeable physiological response to taking this. I'm more alert and have more energy. Lysine is such an important molecule and it was the subject of the movie Informant! if you remember that one. Matt Damon plays the true story guy who whistle blew the price fixing scheme of the Lysine manufacturers. Lysine is critical as a supplement in cattle feed and other animal feeds. It's produced on a huge scale which is why I don't understand why it is so expensive as a supplement. One of the few supplements I've ever taken that I know works and continues to work even after a long period of time. Your body needs this amino acid from diet or supplementation since it cannot produce it on its own. The definition of an essential amino acid is you need it to live and your body can't make it.
