Got V1.6 and Working Perfectly on day one
I was really on the fence about ordering this due to there being many complaints.Day one: it's working perfectly! Had it setup and running in 5 minutes. Didn't even have to reboot !I'm using windows 11, a new xfx rx7600 and an Ace Magic W1 Warlord (Ryzen 8745hs/780m mini PC) with USB4 and I'm running overwatch 2 1440p with every detail set to ultra, render scale 100, no upscaling at a locked 120fps I couldnt be happier.Time will tell though. Hopefully it lasts.I will update if I encounter any problems going forward. Played for 2 hours and the GPu temp stayed under 75c and the Corsair RM750e PSU fan never even had to kick on either.

Never should have bought
I can get everything to work and connect while using this dock. It powers on and shows a nice clear image on my monitor. Problem is I can't figure out how to get the board to actually draw adequate power from the psu. Can't get a 7800xt to draw more then 40 watts when it's tdp is around 230 watts. Also can't get it to charge my legion go while docking which it's supposed too. The other very common egpu dock on Amazon works perfectly for me while using same gpu and psu. I can't get this egpu dock to work correctly and it's too late to return.

It works with an Nvidia RTX 2080!
I have the REATAN ALLOY 9 MINI PC AMD RYZEN 9 7940HS that has the 780M integrated graphics. I purchase a mini pc every few years just to see how far they have come. Well, the 780M was not up to gaming (very little anyway). My solution was the JMT ADT-UT3G USB4.I also purchased a 500 watt small PSU to power the RTX 2080 I had in storage. TheJMT ADT-UT3G USB4 came with a USB4 cable. Up to this point I had never experienced the USB4 interface. It works!I set it up on a 1440p x 144hz refresh rate to test. I could play some games that barely played 1080p on the 780M integrated graphics and now play 1440p at 90fps and some over 100fps. The setup was intuitive (I build and repair pcs for a hobby) I am 74, so if I can do it, you can do it! I will try 4K on one of my OLED monitors next.

Excellent Performance - Close to Internal GPU
Got this running on a Beelink SER8 (AMD) and Beelink GTi14 (Intel) with a Radeon 6900 XT and it works like a charm with performance very close to having the card plugged directly into a PCIe slot.I downloaded the latest drivers from AMD and it was plug and play from there on.I ran everything in 4K ultra settings (no FSR) both from HDMI out of graphics card and also from PC with no noticable difference between the two.- Flight Simulator 2020, 30-60 fps depending on the density of the scenes- Red Dead Redemption 2, 50-60 fps- Starfield, 50-60 fps- Baulders Gate, 50-60 fpsThis is an excellent small form factor performant setup which is going to replace my huge full size rig.I am even running the games from an external Samsung SSD.Definitely recommended.

Cheaper than buying an eGPU
This is a great alternative to pre built eGPU's and a lot cheaper if you have a GPU and spare power supply laying around. This is not a PNP type adapter though. It took me a few tries to get this to work with my Legion Go device. I had to get the windows I insider preview for the Canery build to get the NvIdia drivers to install then it finally recognized the RTX 2060 GPU. Other than that works great!

Works with Windows, not Linux
As a Linux user, I found it disappointing that it didn't work with Linux at all. Threw up some odd errors and wouldn't even work to boot. Had to remove it and look for a Linux compatible eGPU enclosure. Might return it.

It works, but over TB4 it may not report the correct bus speed.
I tried to using the usb4 cable provided and a known good one, but it always reported the bus interface as PCIe x4 1.1 when the card I was using supports PCIe 16x 3. I haven't tested it if it is just a interface reporting error or the speeds are video card performance is actually impact by the bottleneck. I bought this product expecting the advertised PCIe4.0x4 connection over TB4.
