Disney Princess Sleeping Beauty: Once Upon a Dream: A Twisted Tale

I actually think this is how the live action film should've been done. Great twist and development of characters. Really surprised me how much I enjoyed it. Could be too dark for some youngsters that the book is aimed at, but as an adult and fan of Disney 1959 film it was must read.

I've become a fan of this little series! I finally know the order of the series and I can't wait to read more of the series. Like reading the others, I enjoyed reading this sort of story of knowing how things would have changed if Maleficent raised Aurora, just like in the live action film, and the three fairies were evil! I also felt that she bonded more with Prince Phillip a lot more than they do in the classic as they work together and discover things together! Loved reading this story and can't wait to read the rest of the books from the series!

I bought the first two books of the twisted tales series, a whole new world and this book. I have to say this one was much much better and more interesting to read then the first book. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I think it would be best suited to older kids or young teenagers. I'm an adult though and I enjoyed it.

Love the Twisted Tales series! The different viewpoint and upturn of the Happily Ever After is what grabs me in, and with this book it gives a more realistic feel to what a confused young woman may be going through mentally when she finds out that she’s not who she thought she was. This book in particular portrays Aurora Rose as a strong, highly intelligent person battling struggles and mortal danger rather than just “the silly girl who touched the spindle and slept until the prince saved her.” Highly recommend!

At first I struggled with this book, but once you put what you know about “sleeping beauty” out of your head & accept it as a new different story it makes the read easier. I ended up getting really into it & finished it a matter of days. I’ve proceeded to order two more from the twisted tales collection & hope they are as good!

Bien, ha llegado rápido aunque las esquinas un poco destrozadas. Es más grueso de lo que pensaba. Recomiendo para gente con alto nivel de inglés, no es ideal para niños.
