Essential Supplement for a Healthy Pregnancy
As a mother-to-be, I’m always cautious about what I put in my body, especially during pregnancy. I was looking for a supplement that would support both my health and my baby’s development, and Ritual’s Natal Choline Supplement has been exactly what I needed. The 550mg dose of choline is ideal for supporting my baby’s cognitive function and overall brain development. I also love that this supplement contributes to the choline content in breast milk, ensuring my baby will continue to benefit after birth. As someone who is conscious about ingredient quality, it’s reassuring to know that Ritual uses clean, traceable ingredients with no artificial additives or fillers. What I appreciate the most: The capsules are easy to swallow and have a light, natural lemon flavor that doesn’t leave any unpleasant aftertaste. No stomach discomfort or nausea, which I’ve experienced with some other supplements in the past. The 30-day supply is convenient, and the packaging is both sustainable and user-friendly. I’ve felt more energized and confident knowing I’m giving my baby the best start. If you’re looking for a high-quality choline supplement that you can trust during pregnancy, I highly recommend Ritual!

Lemon scent? Weird but good
These did great while I was pregnant. Only complaint is the container and the pills have a VERY strong lemon smell. Luckily I put them in my pill box for the week and so it’s not so bad after it’s been a few days of being out of the original container. When you swallow it you have a slight lemon taste but it’s not bad. Just weird. Overall I was super happy with it. The pills were not huge and they were easy to swallow.

Will be buying more!
Peace of mind knowing I’m taking healthy vitamins for me and my baby. I didn’t have any side effects and I don’t mind the slight lemony scent, doesn’t bother me but I read other comments some women were very sensitive to it…it’s not bad, I would suggest to just eat with food. Good value for the quality product you get!

Helpful way to add extra choline during pregnancy
I wanted to be more intentional about getting enough choline during pregnancy, especially since I noticed it isn’t regularly included in many prenatals. This felt like a simple way to fill that gap without adding a lot of extra hassle to my routine. I liked that it’s made specifically with pregnancy in mind, and it gave me peace of mind knowing I had an easy option on days when I wasn’t sure I was getting enough choline through food alone. I would usually take it at night if I felt like my diet hadn’t gotten me close to my goal, and I never had any stomach issues with it. Since I didn’t take it every single day, 2 bottles lasted me my entire pregnancy, which I appreciated from a value standpoint too.

Supplement your prenatal with this
In doing research on prenatal vitamins, I was shocked that I couldn’t find one that has the recommended amounts of the nutrients I needed, with many not having Choline (or not having nearly enough). I had read to consume 450mg for reference. This supplement provides the right amount and is an easy add to my morning routine. While I don’t love having to take another pill, and the lemon flavor is a bit overpowering for me (kind of like a lemon drop candy), I’m glad I’m able to get all the nutrients my growing baby needs.

It’s not a good product for you and your baby
Hi I hope the early moms out there see this, do not do this to yourself. First of all - you most likely get enough choline in your diet as is, most of us do. Overdosing yourself with this causes extreme nausea, enough to take you off your feet and land you straight into bed until you discontinue use. Second - the perfume or whatever toxic smell and taste they soak this capsule in has given me so much PTSD that I cannot look at the sponsored product that’s always in the top of my Amazon feed without literally gagging. Last thing to note; the prenatal is the exact same way so save yourself the trouble of experiencing what I did and switch. Women’s One a day is a great option; transition was hard for 3 ish days and now I feel human again, entering this new era of your life it is NOT NORMAL to feel like an ill zombie!!!!! Ps. This is coming from someone who has no issues with pills & massive foodie, not picky in the least bit & can tolerate a lot. Don’t waste your $$$ like me :)

Good choline supplement
The recommendation during pregnancy is 450mg a day. I was taking Choline supplements prior to pregnancy, and it was hard to find one for pregnancy that wasn't part of a prenatal or high enough dose (e.g. 110mg). These supplements are great if you don't get enough choline from diet (eggs, milk, meat, yoghurt, etc.). I was doing my best to get it through diet but find that I am starting to become nauseous now that I am hitting the six-week mark (1st trimester), so these supplements have come in handy on the days I can't manage certain foods (i.e. eggs) because it makes me feel ill.
