Great brace
I hurt my knee and needed a brace to help me get around. This one worked great, it allows your knee to bend but keeps it in place where it should be. After a couple days wearing the brace my knee felt much better. It doesnโt slide down, it stays in place nicely. Itโs definitely noticeable wearing it, some days I had to give myself a break from it 6 or 8 hours in. It fit under my jeans which are pretty loose, definitely plan on wearing shorts or loose pants. Good brace definitely worth having

Gamechanger? Yes. I think so.
Update After MRI: well, I was wrong. my meniscus is torn (a lot) and recommend surgery. It's torn enough where they don't think its repairable vs removing the torn part. As most of you may know, surgery can be a discretion thing (based on lifestyle, level of activity, pain management) so I am currently weighing my options.. This brace makes it to where I can do more but it will NOT change the pain/irritation related to deep bending. the doctor saw my brace and acted like he liked it and said "the right brace can make a big difference". I usually wait longer to write reviews but was happy with the difference this has made so will write one now and update later. Background: I am under 40 and fairly fit. I have had a knee issue since February 2025. not sure what caused it exactly, but it started modest. Deep bends and strenuous activity would aggravate the inside right of my left knee. it would get very painful, tender to the touch. Caused occasional sleepless nights and limited my activity. I babied it all summer and wore a brace most of the summer, avoided a lot of activities with my kids, but did continue to do some things like mow, weed eat, walk around. (no exercise, no sports, not much physical activity). In July, I even passed all the basic knee tests (Macmurry, etc,) and an Xray - which I had this appointment because the pain did not go away all the way. Then, in late July, I had to begin some work on a house that involved quite a bit of bending, and carrying heavy items out of basement. Weeks of doing this on and off finally led to a weekend of me not being able to walk. the pain was so intense I could not get in and out of my vehicle (couldn't bend the leg without severe pain) and lost several nights of sleep. I iced 20 times over the course of 2-3 days, and rested for 2-3 days. I then ordered this brace, but in parallel I did also push for an MRI (which is scheduled). I ordered this brace because I knew that regardless of what I found out, I needed some relief, this was on on-going issue, and it takes time to get MRI and surgery if I need it. I got the brace on TUESDAY and immediately started wearing it. (this was after the weekend I was on crutches and in bad pain). I wore the brace all day each day. IMPORTANT my favorite part of this brace is that it has NO METAL on the side where the MCL attaches (inner knee) - if you remember, that is where my knee was sensitive to the touch. whereas every single other brace I had put pressure on the inside of knee and made it hurt worse. Thursday - not even a full week after I couldn't walk - I decide to risk bowling league - since I had the MRI scheduled anyhow and the knee was doing better (with the brace), I wanted to see what would happen. Zero sharp pains for 3 games. The day after, I mowed and weed-eated... Do I think this brace made me magically better? Not all by itself. I did take it easy and iced for several days. But do I think this brace absolutely allows functions and will help recovery, regardless of what the MRI finds? YES. Game Changer? I believe so. As I write this I do have some tenderness in the knee, but no sharp pains. I can walk... I will have my MRI and results within a few weeks, at the point I can update this review to share what my actual issue was, as I think perhaps it can help someone with the same journey. Note: my legs are pretty small so I did have to trim 2 of the straps. I didn't realize that was part of the fitting so pay attention if you get the brace and don't think it fits - you can trim all of the straps. i don't know if my type of injury benefits from the "unloader" feature, but you will need to play with that for comfort.

Good Quality brace - needs one improvement
I have bone-on-bone with severe arthritis in my left knee on the inside (medial knee OA). The one prescribed by my doctor was going to cost over $600 and so I went searching on Amazon for a more affordable option. I originally purchased the Orthomen OA Unloader because it got good reviews and was a cheaper option and most importantly the adjustment was built into the brace and I wouldnโt have to keep track of a tool. After a month of wearing that one and having the plastic pulling away from the padding because the glue disintegrated, I went searching again and landed on this one. And it is certainly a game changer. Pros: โข Low profile โ this brace fits closer to my leg and doesnโt have as much bulk as my previous one. Just like my previous one, this one wonโt fit under my jeans, but it is still less bulky and feels lighter. โข Padding โ the padding on this one is much more substantial and stays in place. โข Straps โ the straps are narrower and thus seem to hold in place better. The end piece is rubber and adheres to the strap much better than my old one. โข Stability โ I find that the very top strap does not slip like my other one. I originally thought this was going to be an issue with any brace that I got because I have large thighs and so I wasnโt expecting the brace to stay in place so solidly. When I walk around, I very barely adjust or tight the straps like I did with the previous one. โข Comfort โ because of the items listed above (low profile, padding, straps, stability) the brace feels more comfortable to wear and I can walk better with this brace. Cons: โข Adjustment โ the whole reason I chose the other brace over this one when I made my original purchase was because of the adjustment tool. This one requires a tool that I must keep track of and if I lose it (which is a very real possibility), I will lose the ability to adjust the brace. My other brace had the adjustment built into the brace which is a feature that I think should be in every single brace. If this brace had had that feature, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4. My biggest fear is that this brace will be unusable in the future if I ever lose the adjustment tool. I think the manufacturer should include a spare tool with the purchase or make the brace with the adjustment mechanism built in. This brace has allowed me to walk around as close to normally as I can get without pain. You certainly need a brace sleeve to wear underneath it. Even though the padding is good, not every inch of the straps is padded and thus can cause friction against your skin if you wear it without a brace sleeve. Iโm a larger girl and have โthunder thighsโ and so there were a lot of braces I had to bypass because they had a size restriction. I had some anxiety over getting this one because I know the size guide was really close but was pleasantly surprised that it fit without having to swap straps or extend them to their maximize size. This brace provides the support I was missing from the other one, and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from my condition. If you have larger sized thighs, this one will likely work for you because it fits me better than I was expecting. Iโve had this one for a few days versus wearing the other one for a month, but I knew I had made the right decision with this brace from the moment I put it on and took my first steps. I feel like I have more stability and the brace is high quality.

Extremely customizable, comfortable and stays in place!
I was dealing with a brace I received from the hospital for my injured knee. It was impractical to say the least. I ordered this one and have worn it all day with absolutely no issues. I have a larger leg and it fits perfectly with a lot more room for adjustment for even larger legs. It actually stays in place without cutting off the circulation to my leg and doesnโt get hot. The initial setup took about 15min to get it set perfectly to my leg. The clips make it easy to put on and take off. If my leg swells during the day itโs also simple to loosen the straps a bit where needed. I am almost walking normally when I was on crutches just 2 days ago. Quality and durability seems to be very good.

Affordable comfortable and effective
Ive had a bad knee for 40 some years. 6 months ago, I fell and broke my tibia just below the knee. After it healed the pain when i walked was intense. When I saw the brace advertised I decided to give it a try. The result was truly remarkable. The pain is still there but greatly reduced. The brace is comfortable and not bulky, fits well, stays in place and really supports my knee. At first, trying to adjust the straps seemed a bit much but once done, its like hand in glove; I love it. The material and workmanship is first rate and made to last. I am considering ordering another for my other knee because it too is weak. A hospital offered a similar device but wanted 700 dollars. So the price for this one is a real bargain.

Whatโs most important to know? So mush less pain to deal withโฆ
Excellent product that helped relieve pain from a torn meniscus. Dr. recommended I use this type of knee brace to help with healing by taking pressure off from normal daily walking. Meniscus tears donโt always heal but this sure made the pain so much less until time needed for possible healing to take effect. Sure worked for me and worth the costโฆ.

Slides down leg a lot
3 stars only. These are nice. I slides a lot and you have to constantly readjust. Support is good when it stays on place. Very lightweight, but it just doesn't stay well.

Reliable, comfortable and worthwhile
I tore my MCL, meniscus and hamstring, plus Iโm riddled with osteoporosis in my left knee. I purchased mine in March and wear it anytime I go for walks or the ground is uneven. While I do need a total knee replacement this is an amazing brace for now. It does slip a bit but that just requires a strap readjustments. If youโre looking for a brace, this is a good one. Iโm a women who is 70โ and it fits me well at a size large.

Amazingly good quality and works as well as a $900 race
This works as well as the $900 one the local medical supply wanted to sell me. It takes a little bit to get used to, don't go too tight at first with the screw, but amazingly it took the pressure off my knee and it didn't hurt to walk. It's not a cure but it does allow you to do activities without pain.

great brace
great brace, adds stiffness and offloads the knee, looks cyborgie, cool, but actually it is barely noticeable during sports (running or pickleball)

Defective Adjustment Joint โ Failed Within few Days
The product worked well initially, but after just few days of minimal use, the adjustment nut came loose and detached entirely. This suggests a possible design or manufacturing issue. Unfortunately, this experience has affected my confidence on Ovation medical products, as I expected better durability for normal use.

It works
I have to say this was the best purchase I have made for my knee. I have been waiting 11 months for a partial knee replacement and the medial compartment is bone on bone. THe hospital physio recommended I not buy this and but one for another $1000 more. Well I took the chance - I can actually walk with minimal pain whereas prior I could barely walk even with a cane. It has been a life saver to be honest.
