This mat is perfect! Not only does it look decent, but its large size and porous surface ensure that our cats don't track litter very far from the litter box. We have an extra large litter box, and this mat offers a wide perimeter around it. It is also a decent weight so it doesn't slip and slide everywhere like some mats do. It did smell very chemically when we opened it, but the smell faded in a few days

This mat is large, well-made, and soft enough for my cat’s paws—she actually steps on it without avoiding it. The material feels durable and flexible, not stiff or plasticky. It traps litter effectively and is easy to shake out or rinse clean. The neutral color blends in nicely with my space, and it came well-packaged in a sturdy bag. Great functionality and quality for the price!

This definitely gets 5 stars because it is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have a large stainless steel litter box that is too big for normal rugs/carpets made for this purpose but this item was the perfect size--it fits the litter box with ample room for the cat to clean off her paws and just be a general sloppy animal (cats, sigh...). The course top is great for this purpose and trapping small bits of litter before it hits the carpet. I read some reviews saying it is difficult to vacuum--this is definitely due to the design because it is meant to be shaken out and not directly vacuumed--but if you leave the litter box on top of it or something heavy then you can spot vacuum as needed.For the price you're not going to go wrong. You can spend more than double and get something thicker/more resilient (something that would go in a kennel or vet perhaps) but this is perfect for home use.

I purchased the brown one to match the floor. It's big and does catch litter granules but little litter chunks that get kicked out just sit on top of the mat. No idea how to clean a mat this big without taking it outside. You can't simply shake caught litter back in the box like with the honeycomb designed mats. I still love this mat. It's heavy, sturdy, visually appealing and keeps the floor cleaner

2 CATS CAN LEAVE A LOT OF CAT LITTER IN THE CARPET. THIS MAT IS LARGE ENOUGH AND LONG ENOUGH TO REALLY HELP WITH THAT PROBLEM. KEEP IN MIND THAT NO MAT WILL GET ALL THE LITTER, BUT THIS ONE GETS A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT. I HAVE BOUGHT ONLY 4 OF THESE OVER THE LAST 8 YEARS, BECAUSE THEY LAST A LONG TIME EVEN WITH 2 CATS. DON'T TRY TO VACCUUM THESE, BECAUSE THE BRUSH WILL TEAR UP THE MAT. USE AN EXTENTION WITH A BRUSH OR SHAKE IT OUT.

I love these rugs and so do my cats!They are large enough to cover the litter box area, washable, and not too hard on the feet.I’ve repurchased twice now.

We recently replaced all our cat litter box with the plastic ones with lids as the dust was all over the basement (also purchased on Amazon). But the four cats we have tend to track them from time to time and needed a fast solution. So far, they seem to be tracking the litter less. We have a shop-vac that we'll use to clean it and it's powerful enough we can quickly vacuum on a daily basis and not have litter piled up.The quality seems fine. It's not too thick but unfolded from the bag and it laid down with some creases. Hopefully, these mats will last awhile. We bought two of the large ones and put them side by side.

This is a large mat and it does collect a lot of litter ( my cat still manages to spread some around the house). The downside is the litter gets stuck in it and is impossible to vacuum out , even with my Dyson. I do use a fine litter may make it worse. I won’t change my litter as it’s natural, dust free, and covers the odor so well that people say they would not know I own a cat. So I guess I live with it or buy another mat.
