The media could not be loaded. A friend of mine invited me to his boat while mine was at the mechanic. He showed me this stainless steel anchor that he got from Amazon. I was so impressed with the anchor that I had to order one. This stainless steel anchor is as shiny as a mirror, really well made, and the flukes are welded completely to the cross bar making it a solid anchor. Love this new anchor. Mud and dirt don't stick to the mirror-like steel surface, so it stays clean in my boat. I love the way it holds my 21ft boat even on the fast moving Mississippi river. I also bought 10ft of stainless steel chain. I probably only need 5ft because the combination is quite heavy. Love it.

Such a nice anchor! Then they put this super sticky product information sticker on the anchor that does not come off!!!!! Tried goof off and WD-40. Now I guess I have to put something sharp on there and scrape it off and scratch The heck out of my anchor. Well I guess it's going to get scratched up anyways what the heck.

i can't understand how a 316 SS anchor can be sold this inexpensively, but here it is. The unit has a mirror polish on it and the construction is adequate. The welds are are not top-notch, but they'll do the trick I think. I don't understand why the flukes are not welded to the crossbar across their entire width (only the outer 1/2 is welded). I've seen variation on this before on other danforth-style anchors (including name brand) but I can't explain it.The geometry seems fine, and the shank to crossbar fit is a bit loose for my taste. Overall I think this would be a fine occasional-use anchor, or a beach hook. I wouldn't trust it as a full-time primary anchor, but that has more to do with danforth-style vs more modern anchor designs.And please, don't use that plastic-coated chain. Get a short hunk of stainless steel chain if your worried about rust. The vinyl stuff is just dangerous IMO.
