The price that the manufacturer of my dryer wanted for this part was outrageous. I found this, and easily replaced it for 80% less. Highly recommend.

Problematic design of no concern from manufacturer ignorance.
Nothing of the seller here. I just found out that the reason this broke is because the product sucks! The design is flawed for mounting it and it seems like if i tighten it down it would break again. I had to put spacers behind it since the rounded part sticks out too far creating a high point they will cause tightening to crack the cheap trash crap pot metal it’s made of. Planning shims behind it allowed the hinge point to not create a high point so tightening the screws will not cause it to bend now.Only totally wrong failure i see from this. Well aside From their junk plastic screen that warps to not even seal at all so then tons of lint will pass on by and fill everywhere to possibly cause a fire next. So sad when manufacturers have no sense to make sure stuff actually works or fix it before sending it out and then have me hate in their junk product that should have lasted longer if they feel they actually have a quality name like ge. Sorry you keep losing my faith in your products.Thanks for the part but if you wanted to sell it better you could find a shim to sell with it to lift it out of its mounting area to allow a proper fit and make up for the manufactures complete failure of satisfaction as this should have been a recall party as i assume every dryer sold is already broken of this part.
