Like a perfume for paws

Our beloved dog is quite particular about her paws, and getting anywhere near them for nail trimming or applying balms has always been a challenge. With the hot weather causing her paws to dry and crack, we were desperate to find a solution that would soothe her discomfort without the usual struggle. After trying various other balms with no success, we came across this roll-on paw moisturizer and decided to give it a shot. The roll-on application seemed promising, as it allowed us to use one hand to comfort our dog while applying the product with the other. To our delight, this product worked wonders! Not only did it effectively moisturize her paws, but it also had a delightful scent that our furry friend seemed to adore. She actually started looking forward to the application, eagerly licking her paws after we rubbed the balm in. One slight hiccup we encountered was that as soon as we removed the top, our dog's excitement seemed to kick into overdrive, and she tried to eat the balm before we could apply it. Despite this minor challenge, we can confidently say that this product is excellent. Our dog absolutely loves it, and we will continue to repurchase it. As for the results, this paw moisturizer lives up to its promises. It keeps our pup's pads hydrated, and the roll-on application makes it a breeze to use. If your furry friend is anything like ours, be prepared to apply it liberally, as they'll go absolutely nuts for this paw-some balm!

Great pet product! Works great on .... paws, noses, healing wounds, dry skin. Smells great. All natural products, if pet licks where you placed, no stress, all ingredients are ok to digest. I have recommend this product multiple times to others. I love that your fingers do not get messy. Easy to use. Will buy again!

Tried this Bugalugs nose and paw balm on our cocker spaniel Waffle, and it’s been a lovely little addition to his care routine. His nose tends to get a bit dry, especially in colder weather, and his paw pads can go rough after walks. This balm has a nice texture thick enough to stay put but soft enough to apply without fuss. It’s a bonus that it’s lick-safe and has oatmeal in it, which seems to calm any redness. Waffle didn’t seem bothered by the smell either, which is a win in our house. It’s vegan too, so you know you’re putting something gentle on them. Only thing I’d say is that it needs reapplying fairly often but that’s to be expected with natural products.

Effective after first application

This is incredibly easy to apply and the salve can be applied directly from stick to paw. There is a twist mechanism at the base of this unit to produce more product. Our dog is rather partial to the taste of this which does defeat the purpose of application. Furthermore, a lot seems be used on any one application: at this rate, this product will not last long! Our dog’s pads get dry and cracked over the wet weather periods and moisturising and massaging her paws after walks is essential to keep them in good condition. Relatively inexpensive, this is certainly better than a number of other alleviating soothers. Unfortunately though, it is still not as effective as old fashioned Vaseline which softens the pads very quickly and acts as a barrier cream to boot.
