Worth the money
And what I didn't realise at the time was that there is an enclosed c.d provided with this handbook of the handpan. I am following the authors advice regarding learning a little bit each day rather than just one long session per week, for example.. Text and graphics are clear

It was an amazing book but I bought it for my son for Christmas not sure if he has used it yet but was very happy to receive it

Not used the DVD yet, but the book was easy enough to understand.
This book could be clearer at times and could have more and deeper explanations but it is not a hard book to understand by any means.But the more ways to explain the same thing the better.So if you can find other training sources don't hesitate, but this is a good first step, even decent enough without the instrument itself.

The CD doesn't work, the book will not teach you any scales, chords or tunes.
The book is based on music theory, but extremely poorly explained. The CD doesn't work, you need to use it in a pc and download an app that can play older video files. The CD contains only info on some hand hitting techniques, ie hit the same note over and over but using different fingers. If you are seeking information on how to play a handpan, scales, tunes or simple ideas of how to play, dont buy this. Watch videos on YouTube with sound advice and examples to follow, these lots out there who teach the basics and you'll be a wizard at the handpan in days.

Libro davvero completo. Spiega tutto dalla A alla Z. Sia per i principianti sia per chi ha già esperienza. Inoltre utile anche il cd con le spiegazioni. Un ottimo acquisto per imparare questo stupendo strumento

No suelo perder tiempo poniendo reseñas, he decidido poner esta porque he quedado muy satisfecho.El libro tiene alrededor de 150 páginas, comienza con una introducción y algunos conceptos básicos para la comprensión y realización de los ejercicios.Empieza con ejercicios a un nivel muy básico para familiarizarte con el handpan, posteriormente va subiendo de dificultad.Los ejercicios vienen explicados de tal forma que indica la nota que tocar con el dedo correspondiente, alternando manos.. todo muy gráfico e intuitivo.Escalas, acordes, patrones rítmicos.. todo ello con numerosos ejercicios. Si tienes ganas y tiempo hay horas y horas y horas de material para practicar. No te vas a aburrir.Eso si, está ilustrado graficamente para handpans de 7+1 y 8+1 notas, aunque si tienes un handpan de más notas no impide que puedas realizar los ejercicios.No he utilizado aun el DVD que incluye, pero aunque fuese solo por el libro ya merecería la pena.
