Who could ask for more?
[Pros] Best of analog intuitiveness and digital usefulness, with solar charging & perfect Radio Synchronization accuracy- Radio Sync works well in California, U.S.- Super light, super thin and right size- Bands easily adjustable and long enough- Light bright enough to illuminate hands- Functions: day (2 languages), date, international time, solar charging, charging level indication (high, mid, low), alarms, start - stop (up to 1/100 sec), countdown.[Cons] At this price point, none.[Future suggestions]- Timex Indiglo-type uniform blue light would be cool?- Illuminate the digital window as well?- Make the digital window bigger or fonts bolder for hyperopic eyes?

Manual not helpful
No instructions to adjust watch band. The Japanese manual that came with it had a picture of a different type of bracelet. I sent a note to vendor to help, but I was able to figure it out.It is a great watch otherwise and upgrading my review to 4.

Love this watch, my 3rd one.
This has been my favorite model of watch for over a decade, maybe two decades plus. I love the analog face with the digital inserts. But probably the best feature is the solar power, so a battery replacement is never needed. The satellite time feature does not work in my area (Northern Calif.) so that's not been important to me. But it doesn't matter because the watch keeps excellent time. The instructions are rather convoluted. I have to keep it digital copy on my phone so I can figure out how to reset the watch whenever I go to a different time zone or adjust daylight savings. I suppose if the satellite connection feature was more broadly available, it could do this automatically, but not for me.The light is rather dim, but the fluorescent hands make up for it.Regardless, for those who like the look of this watch and its features, it will likely prove to be rocksolid and reliable, and a long-term keeper!

Great watch but it is gray market with all instructions in Japanese
Casio Wave Ceptor with black face and metal band. Replaced 10yo similar model after the old one could not auto adjust to DST change. Two improvements suggested (1) provide link to English instructions on adjustment of the segmented metal wrist band and (2) mention that the wristband may have a nearly invisible plastic coating that must be removed before adjustment. The new band is a real improvement over the old one as it is very easy to adjust without disassembly once the plastic film is removed.

English manual is not readliy availble. Functions are not intuitive.
English (or Korean) user manuals are not available. Without it, the features and bottums are complex and difficult to use, specially when I need to adjust for Summer time. The auto-adjusting time based on the location is not working. The instruction is the most important item for the not-very-intuitive watch function like this. I don't recommend until the insturctions are readily available... also change the design to make it simple... trying to put together many functions in three buttoms makes it difficult to use.

Interesting Casio watch
Interesting but easy to use band. The watch is good looking, east to read, very accurate and solar battery.I have a similar Casio that is at least ten years old and runs beautifully on the same battery.
