First off. I have tons of experience with using makeup primer, setting and finishing sprays. I know what they are and how to use them. I was really excited to try Skindinavia because of all the rave reviews, so I bought both the primer spray and bridal finishing spray. I wanted to wait until I finished both of them to leave an honest review as well because sometimes you need to try different methods with product like these. I always used them together, primer spray first before makeup and finishing spray as my last step after powder. I’m not impressed. Here’s why: Primer spray doesn’t do anything at all, you literally don’t need it. It’s just an added step that doesn’t help with anything. I didn’t notice a difference using it and not using it with my makeup routine. And the description says the nozzle sprays out a fine mist, but both bottles spayed out so heavy and awkward I didn’t feel like it evenly covered my face, making me use far too much of the product. It felt like rain drops hitting my face, how is that going to evenly keep your make up in place?! And This finishing spray, both of them actually, are expensive, the set is over $50 bucks! I feel like having a good mist is important too. I wanted it to mist evenly and lock my makeup in place (like all the reviews say it does), but it didn’t do much at all. I thought using them together would be chef’s kiss, but did not help my makeup stay in place. I’m super disappointed because Skindinavia constantly gets good reviews online but after I used both of their products, I do not believe them. I get a better makeup hold and mist from a $10 finishing spray. DONT BUY THE HYPE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY.

OMG! I have never heard of this brand, but these products are amazing! I chose the Skindinavia Makeup Primer and Finisher Sprays with Oil Control. Gamechanger for real! I spray the primer right after I apply my moisturizer. And then I complete my makeup routine. At the end, I use the finisher spray and I am set for the entire day. My makeup looks amazing until I take it off. Once I slept in my makeup...a 24 hour foundation and these primer and finisher sprays... it still looked flawless the next day. I am happy to have these, but not sure if I would repurchase as the price is a little out of my budget. If there ever is a sale, I would definitely think about getting them. Not budget friendly, but if you have the budget, I million percent recommend this set, if at least the primer and setting spray. I’m loyal to another brand setting spray, but willing to try new primers. When given the chance to try a new setting spray, but part of a set, could say I was hesitant. The primer spray goes on very lightly. The first time it made me wonder what it was even priming. The setting spray has instructions to do an x shape, but just like other brands, this method doesn’t work for me so I spritz a couple sprays while turning my face. The primer actually does a fantastic job of making my face feel ready for my makeup. I tend to use less liquid foundation and more powder, but I do use cream contour and blush. They apply quite evenly. The setting spray is a STAR. I am no longer faithful to my other high end brand. This works even better. I move a lot for my job and when I say I come home 9 hours later, looking like I JUST applied my makeup, this is rare in the past. Not anymore. My blush hasn’t faded, my eyeshadow is on lock, my highlighter still be highlighting. I haven’t tried to remover yet but I imagine it is just as every bit fantastic as the primer and setting spray.

I really wanted this product to work for me. I have been on the search for a primer and setting spray for my oily t-zone. Unfortunately it didn't help much if at all. The primer felt refreshing on the skin almost minty. I liked that. And the setting spray melted my makeup and made it look less powdery. But I didn't really see a difference in my skin with the oils. I had to blot and powder as usual after 2-3 hours. I really wanted this to work but I will continue my search for a primer and/or setting spray that works for my skin.
