I really enjoyed this book as it is full of manageable and well explained chair yoga postures to help you get started. There are stories of how these yoga sessions have improved peoples' lives that probably most readers could relate to. There is a well explained challenge inside which is a great way to get engaged and an introduction to different types of yoga once participants feel able to move on. A really useful book.

I used to do floor gymnastics but my back pain is acute so I came across this handy little book which is very, very well explained. Warning, gentle gymnastics on a chair is still very tiring! especially after my mindfulness meditation sessions when my mind has been focused elsewhere, it is imperative to connect to these physical exercises with concentration. The book is illustrated with photos and not drawings.Perfect for being able to maintain your body, even if you have difficulty standing. Effective, there is something for all levels of practice

Perfect choice for us Yoga rookie old timers…!!!
If you have no yoga experience (I had almost none) then this is the perfect textbook. Each exercise is explained and also clearly illustrated. They all use a chair, sometimes seated and sometimes standing while using the chair to aid balance. Go at your own pace and progress. No pressure. No rush. Complete privacy. It is well worth the price, plus as an added bonus you get access to on line “Mindfull Meditation Script”….

Good yoga exercises
Well written, good explanations and diagrams. Gave this 4 stars only because I'm not into yoga, serves me right for not reading the descriptions thoroughly.

This looks like it is going to work. Good starting point for Seniors.
I needed a low impact workout. This book has a good low impact workout for one with bad knees and back.
