Tried this to clear a slow kitchen drain. I had gurgling when water was drained away and tried this so see if it would help. If anything the gurgling got worse so I would NOT recommend this product. Waste of time and money.

We have an old farmhouse that was remodelled to include an extra bathroom, both with water saver toilets, and the basement has to flow through a pipe and then up to the septic field. So what has been happening is that the outflow because of the water saver feature, has left gunk in the mainline, add laundry residue, fibers, hair, etc, and we had a smell. So we used it in both toilets, and I put some through the washing machine. No smell in well over a month now. I bought enough to last 2 years and we also add vinegar to the wash, and that helps too.
