Excellent product!
Easy to install. Great fit on my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. I am by no means a mechanic and had never modified my jeep. The removal of my factory guards and installation of these steps, which I did outside in the snow, took less than an hour. I used a socket set, a hex wrench, and my hands. I completed the entirety of the work from a sitting position. Instructions aren't that detailed but they're clear enough, if you just read. I didn't need help holding the steps in place because I started in the center position and balanced them on my legs. But it does help if you have smaller hands with some of the bolt positions. They look great. I love that they curve with the frame, something not every rail/step features. One piece of advice, leave every bolt and screw at hand tight until you get them all in where you want them.

1941 step bars
Installation was supper easy, fit body line perfectly and extremely sturdy! This better than a more expensive step bars bought from another supplier. Worth the $$ and time to install. Installation only took less than a hour!! Excellent product and company!

Looks good. Instructions lacked clarity.
Installed the Hooke Road step rails on my 2021 Gladiator Willys. Took me (an old guy with two bad knees and back) by myself about three hours on the driver's side and less than an hour on the passenger side. It took so long on the first side since I kept going back to look for install videos or read reviews for helpful advice. Not much out there. Removing the original rock sliders gave me a moment of panic. They were installed with two different sized bolts. Thought my socket was stripped out at first but two of the bolt heads were just one size smaller than all the others. Surprised at how heavy the sliders were. Without a second pair of hands, used two vehicle ramps turned on their sides to bear the weight while bolting the hex bolt screw into the B support bracket to the chassis. Then A and C brackets followed. Discovered I had mistakenly used the 25-thread cap screws connecting the support brackets to the step since the 20-thread screws were too short when attaching the step to the pinch weld. Not a big deal, just had to swap them out. Learned from the mistakes on the first side and the passenger side install was real quick. While on my back under the Jeep screwing and bolting with a LED light, noticed one bare metal spot on one driver's side step. Have some leftover black primer paint I'll use to touch it up. Will also need to take a closer look at both steps to make sure I didn't miss any other bare spots. The welding and assembly of the driver's side step looked decent, but the welding on the passenger side was shoddy at best. No expert on welding but looked like the steps and rails didn't quite mesh together so used a lot of flux (or whatever filler welders use) to fill the gaps and painted over with glossy black paint. Hopefully it holds up. Instructions could have been better. No install vid on Amazon, just commercials for other Hooke Road products. Instructions were on one page with four picture panels and not much clarity. If you look real hard, there is a small difference between the tiny picture of the M8 hex head bolt and cap screw. Looks good aesthetically. The 6.9" drop step will help my 93 year old mother climb into the Gladiator. She is the reason I haven't lifted it yet. Some day...

Very Decent Side Steps!
I got these for my 2023 Gladiator. I ended up using the YouTube video for a bit more in depth instructions which was a huge help. But my husband and I installed them in about an hour and a half. Not too tricky at all. Just need some basic tools and at least one other set of hands to get them up there. I did notice that some of the rougher “rhino lining” type of finish was chipping off on one the ends. Not very noticeable but I’m sure over time that’ll grow. Super sturdy, makes it much easier for my few elders to get in and my dogs! Would recommend, adds so much to the vehicle. The 1941 engraving was a plus too since my jeep came with the 1941 decal on the hood!

Honestly they suck
They looks nice. Bolt up nice. But the steps don't line up with where you want to place your feet. The pads are short. They came very chipped up. So I'll have to touch them up before rust. I suggest getting a longer step. These are very limited to where you place your foot to get in and out.

Fit perfectly, look great, however, rusting.
They look great, fit perfectly, no issues installing. I knocked off two stars because they’re rusting. They were installed 6 months ago. There’s a 2 year manufacturers warranty on the side steps. I haven’t contacted them thus far. Forgetta about it if the warranty requires taking them off & shipping them back.

Great product
I couldn’t be happier. This cost a few bucks more but fit my new gladiator perfectly. They are contoured to fit the body lines properly. Plus they extend proportionately under fenders like they are supposed too. The others you may be considering are straight and also shorter. My buddy has the other brands in his Gladiator and they just don’t look good. I haven’t had any issues with rust or dents. This are pretty durable and have a nice finish. Now my bride can climb in a little easier.
