I bought this sliding door security bar for extra protection at home, and I’m really impressed. Installation was super simple—no tools required, just adjust the length and lock it into place. It fits snugly against the sliding door track, and I can already feel the added security. The build is solid and heavy-duty, not flimsy like some others I’ve seen. I also like that it has a rubberized end so it doesn’t scratch my door frame. When I want to open the door, it’s easy to remove and put back in seconds. It’s one of those inexpensive upgrades that makes a huge difference—I sleep better knowing it’s there. Definitely recommend for anyone with a sliding patio door.

Well made, with a very solid feel that keeps the door secure no matter how much we shake and tug at the door or handles. It even looks nice with great finish. My one complaint is that our door has an interior bevel on both sides, so the ends of the bar do not fit perfectly (but it does fit), and I wish there a narrower cap on the wider end. Aside from that, this took us about 120 seconds to install, and has worked perfectly. I see some people in the videos had issues with some play - I think they need to adjust it to fit more snugly, because we see none of that. There is no movement in the bar no matter how hard we shake or rattle the door or bar.

This security bar is good quality & exactly as described. It’s adjustable & easy to assemble- highly recommend.

Good product. Works as advertised. However, the retaining clips for the pressure button don’t stay seated. They require adjusting to make sure they properly pop out the hole in the tube. Keeps happening..

The bar is solid and can't be moved.

Just what I needed to make my sliding door secure. Easy to put together. Easy to put in and to remove when using door. Wry happy with my purchase.

The lock / latch on our sliding door broke so we grabbed this for not only security reasons but to help keep the winter cold temperatures outside. This bar is very strong with lots of adjustable settings. We sleep better (and warmer) at night knowing that door is tight and secured.
