Does mold appear overtime?

We’ve had ours for about a month and haven’t noticed any molding.

Can this go in the dishwasher?

I haven't put the bottle in the dishwasher but I have put the top/straw part in the dishwasher. It's a great water bottle for adults and kids. We have 2! :)
