Learning Go: An Idiomatic Approach to Real-World Go Programming

Great introductory reading.
Great book, seems to cover everything I was looking for including concurrency patterns and generics. The chapter on tooling was also great! This book is aimed towards people who already have a background in programming and seems to explain things in a mostly straightforward, terse manner but without skipping on detail.Very happy with purchase!

Bad
I did not like the book. The choice of examples used for explanation is very bad. Most of the time, an example that hasn't been studied yet is used to explain something simple, and it's always followed by "this point will be explained in the upcoming lessons!!!"I don't understand how examples from lessons that haven't been covered yet are used for clarification.Simple examples could have been given for clarification.Unfortunately, the book is bad if you want to learn the Go language.
