When my last steamer finally took its last, steamy breath, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I love the Karcher range and find them to be the best products on the market. I was torn between the SC1 (£80) and SC2 (£100). After weighing up my options, i decided to go for the SC2 as it had a much larger tank and I felt that it would be easier to hold the light hose and wheel the steamer around, rather than hold a heavier handheld steamer. I am so pleased with my choice! This is honestly the most impressive steam cleaner that I have ever owned! There are multiple attachments and everything stores neatly onto the steamers base, which is an excellent design. Although it is still on the larger side, it is much easier to store with everything compact. It fits in my small storage cupboard. The device itself advises around 6 minutes for the tank to heat up. I found it heated up in around 3 minutes - bonus! The tools work for every single household chore. I have even used the larger brush tool with the cover on it for cleaning my kitchen cupboards- which are now gleaming. I have included a before and after of my back door also, to really show the power of this machine. I used no cleaning solution, just the bush head and the mighty power of steam, and my door is good as new! There was some debris that did make its way onto my tiles, etc, but it was nothing a quick going over with the steam attachment mop couldn't fix. You do have to hold in the trigger continuously and there is no lock function to make the steam exit the tool without me pressing the button, so my hand did get slightly cramped using it on bigger jobs, but it is an excellent safety feature none the less. The device itself also will not allow the water valve to open when it is too hot- another amazing safety feature, but can add time to cleaning if you need to refill the water tank. Overall, the device is extremely easy to use and has produced magnificent results. I am so impressed with my purchase and really feel that I will get the use out of this. No surface is safe now from me and my steamer! Even the kitchen bins have been steamed ! It will really cut down on overusing harsh chemical cleaning products in the long run, too. I really can't recommend this model highly enough to anyone torn on their decision to purchase this. It has made short work out of cleaning tasks, and I honestly wish I had bought it sooner!

I kept my eye on these, did my research and was lucky to nab this for £89 in the black friday sales. It cuts through the grease on the cooker hood and oven with ease. I can steam my bathroom tiles and prevent any mould growth. It takes around 5 minutes to come to pressure but it's very effective in what it does easily has 20 minutes of steam time. There's no more scrubbing involved. Super pleased with this steamer. Everything looks and feels brighter and cleaner.

I decided to buy this as it was on sale so it was a great price. Its very easy to set up and use. Literally you add 1 litre of water plug it in and wait till its hot enough and start using it. I've used it a few time to clean the floors in the hallway and kitchen and does a great job. Now the negatives. If you doing a big job and you need to refill the tank you have to wait a while for it to cool down to undo the tank screw. The water tank could do with being a bit bigger. This isn't really a negative but I thought it would be better than what it is. It is good but I just thought it would be stronger steam so not a fault of the item just my expectation

This steam cleaner is a game-changer! Heats up quickly (just a few minutes) and has plenty of power to tackle floors, tiles, and even those tricky corners with the included nozzles. The EasyFix floor kit makes swapping pads super simple, and the microfiber cover leaves everything looking spotless without chemicals. The 1L tank is a good size—I can clean a whole area without constantly refilling. Lightweight, easy to handle, and surprisingly fun to use. Honestly, I don’t know how I managed without it. Highly recommend!

I have only tried this to clean the grout on my conservatory floor and am really pleased. I’m new to steam cleaning so am looking forward to using it elsewhere too. The grout is really pale and has very obvious wear areas. Photos here on a cleaned and non cleaned area for comparison.

I have liked my Karcher steam floor cleaner. I’m terms of design, it could do with a means of storing/winding the flex (which isn’t overly long), and the hook for keeping the steam head feels flimsy (though it has held out), and it feels a bit too heavy when storing. All that aside, it’s worked well. It’s light and maneouverable and cleans well. However, my issue is that it needs a repair - heating up is ok but it’s not producing steam when depressing the handle. It’s outside warranty, so I asked my local go-to repair shop. They don’t do these repairs, nor do any others he knows of locally, as they cannot get parts. I then went back and searched Karcher’s website for domestic repair shops. None locally (up to 50 mile radius - and I live in a large city) does domestic Karcher steam floor cleaner repairs. It might be that I could package it up and post it - but at my own expense and with a fairly sizeable fee for basically receiving it and looking at it. So it looks like it’s effectively obsolete. It’s been a very expensive mistake. (Never mind the spend on extra mop pads and an attachment for steaming carpets) Buyer beware!

After only few use, the cap got jammed and we cannot use it. we tried everything. there is no option to return the damage items .

اخذتها على كثر المدح لللي عليها ولما حربتها طلعت جدا عادية وفي اول مرة كنت اريد زيادة الماء لكن لم يفتح الغطاء فاعتقدت بسبب الحرارة وتركتها تبرد الى اليوم الثاني ولم تفتح فقلت لعله عيب في الجهاز وانشغلت عنها وامس فتحتها وكان يوجد ضغط اثناء الفتح عموما بالنسبة لي غير مجدية

It removes the stains slowly and gradually after repeated usage. Due to over enthusiasm, if you spread Baking soda or neutral water just before steaming, you are sure to get wheezing bronchitis. So, no chemicals before steaming.
