Purchased as a gift - recipient was very pleased. We had a version of this item for my daughter when she was little (a bear version) and we always had him as part of the bedtime routine; it plays lovely calming music and gives off a lovely light so was a key part of our nighttime ritual getting nice and relaxed before or after a bath. Will buy again as a gift I’m sure.

Daughters favourite toy for bedroom, volume adjusted at the back. Songs only last a short time but it doesnt matter for her as she has autism so like button bashing anyways, plays the ladies lullaby over and over to go to sleep. My daughter normally destroys toys and pulls out stuffing, hasnt managed to get in this one yet

Our grandson loves his little owl and still gets it out of the toy box. Initially he liked the lights and the easy to manage button and selecting different sounds. The owl is easy to hold for young hands and easy wash, we have changed batteries once in the long time we have had the toy and it has been a blessing on long pram walks, car rides, plane trips and holidays

We got this for our little one to help with getting her to sleep and keeping her calm. The toy is packed with features, 50 different audible sounds with a soft female English speaking sound. The volume can be controlled on the side of the toy by using a slider and it also has a timer function which you can set from 15-30 minutes which I thought could be better to be controlled. We have found this toy to be really comforting for our little one and she is always hugging and listening to it to keep her calm and also occupied. It is definitely one of the new favourites in the toy boy! This is a great gift for any small child and will definitely provide them with plenty of comfort and enjoyment.

We have purchased a Vtech owl in the past for our now older little girl. This owl differs quite a lot to our older owl. The new owl is smaller, keff chunkier, softer and squishyer. Our last one, about 4 years old, is larger and dare I say, clunky, in that it couldn't be cuddled at night as it was hard and tough - not inviting. This owl is soft, smaller (20cm tall) and squishable enough to be tucked under a little one's arm f9r comforting. Personally, I think it's suited from ages 1 and up. I don't think it can be outgrown as its cute, engaging and endearing. Even my 8 year thinks it's a rather good addition to any cuddly toy collection. The owl produces 50 differnt audible. Using the soothingly voice of a native English-speaking mum-aged woman using a low, sleepy voice. The tummy lights up in a subtle tone of blue and green. The sounds are very delicate, sleep-inducing and relaxing with many audible yawns. There are sounds of nature, owls, crickets, frogs. ☆ What we Love: - We love that I'm able to timer control the cuddly s9 that it doesn't accidentally activate whilst the little one is sleeping, waking and or potentially disrupting his sleep. I can set either a 15 or 30 minute timer. - We can control the brightness of the lights and the volume of the sounds too. ☆ The Niggle: The particular mention the cry sensor. In our trial, we couldn't get the sensor to engage. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? 5 stars in any case, as it's a very well thought out cuddle, which has only improved from out last incarnation.

Bought this just for the cry sensor. It doesn't work. Tried everything. Followed all instructions. Can't get in touch with vtech. Would really appreciate a replacement or a refund to buy a different toy where the cry sensor works. Got more nights of running up and down the stairs to turn the manual toys back on every 15 mins until I can get this sorted mow. Really not happy, I was looking forward to having easier night.
