I used this scrub for the first time yesterday and I really was surprised how soft my skin was after. I usually don’t have rough or dry, it’s always been smooth and soft. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and I have been dealing with the “pregnancy” neck so dry and darkening skin around my neck. I also have some dry patches on my chest and a patch in the crook of one arm. And then a dry patch on my lower back. Other than these areas I don’t have dry skin anywhere else. And when I’m not pregnant I don’t have this issue. Just wanted to give you guys a little background. Anyhow I did what the directions said and started at my legs, and moved to my arms and then body. I’m still not sure how much salt is appropriate to use but I will say be careful when rubbing it in because the salt is coarse. I focused on my dry areas the most. For some reason my skin does not peel and rejuvenate on these dry areas. Anyhow I rinsed the salt off in the shower and it left a really light scent that smells good. as I was rinsing off I could feel how soft my skin felt. After the shower I followed up with my shea butter and a different mix of oils as a moisturizer, as I usually do. I woke up this morning and my skin is not as dry as it usually is the next day. And I believe that’s what my issue was. I would moisturize after every shower but for some reason it wasn’t penetrating these dry areas enough and by the next day I would be so dry it would be itchy and tight around my chest and neck. But no, there is no itchiness or tightness right now and it’s been about 20 hours since my last shower and moisturizer. I’ll say that’s the result of the scrub actually exfoliating the dead skin cells away. I can see some skin peeling from dryness on my chest but it isn’t nearly as bad and I want it to peel anyway because it’s dead dry skin. I recommend the scrub just after one use. It is on the expensive side but worth it. Also wanted to say when I first opened it I thought it looked a little dry. This is my first time using a body scrub. But as I started using it, it worked out.

I mostly buy all my products at pharmacies/Walmart ect and I really wanted to try something new and oh am I glad I did. I chose this because of the great reviews and I agree. The salt is dry so you grab a clump and rub it into your skin. I went easy on the scrubbing the first time I used it but the results were amazing. I have dry skin and usually after a shower when I'm drying off I still have dead skin cells flaking off from the towel rubbing. Since the very first time I used it, my skin has been so soft and glowing. No more dead skin cells flaking off (noticeable ones anyway!) and my skin has never been so soft and I use lotion every day. I use this twice a week but I would use it every day if I could afford to buy 1 jar of this every 2 weeks. The scent is very light and pleasant. I wish it was a little bit stronger, I can only smell it if I put my nose right on my skin. The only other complaint I have is that no matter how hard I try I somehow get some in my mouth every time I use it. I know this is not the companies fault, but damn it tastes disgusting! I can't get more than a drop or two in my mouth but it tastes like I just ate an exotic flower chased by half a cup of pure salt. Makes sense because it is a salt scrub but boy it's gross! Haha Anyone thinking about trying this scrub, I urge you to try it! Your skin will thank you!

I love this Himalayan salt scrub! I have used several different brands of salt, sugar, and coffee scrubS in the past, and immediately noticed a positive difference with this one. Upon opening the well-packaged tub, this scrub looked finer, smoother, and creamier than most other brands I have used thus far. After reading the ingredients, I learned this is because, in addition to the salt, there is collagen and other skin boosting ingredients! Also, this brand is much finer than most salt scrubs I have used, which tend to be more corse and jagged. I did not have any irritation with this brand when used before shaving, but due to the salty nature, I don’t recommend use after shaving (salt irritates fresh tiny nicks), and I have VERY sensitive skin. After using this scrub in the shower, my skin felt so soft and smooth that I didn't even need to use lotion after! With my dry, sensitive skin, I ALWAYS need to moisturize after a shower, but this scrub moisturized and exfoliated all in one! (Although, note the directions still say to moisturize after use). I'd also like to comment on the please thank smell of this scrub. I absolutely love it! Sweet and fresh and not overbearing and artificial at all. Overall, this is an excellent product. I first tried M3 Charcoal scrub before trying the Himalayan salt scrub. They both had great reviews, and I was very satisfied with Charcoal scrub; the only complaint I had with the Charcoal one was that it left some dark charcoal color on my skin after using it if I don't scrub myself with a brush/loofa properly. Comparing this to the Charcoal scrub, they both are excellent body scrub products with the Charcoal one does much deep cleansing while this one does more of a moisturizing. I could feel some old, dead skin scrubbed off, and my skin would feel so much smoother and moisturized afterward. I don't have to scrub my skin with a loofa to remove dark residue after each usage, and the scrub feels a bit more appropriate for people with sensitive skin - the salt feels smaller and smoother. I even use it occasionally as a facial scrub and applied it on the part of my face and massaged it gently. It never irritated my skin yet, and I do have somewhat sensitive skin. I don't think I would purchase this product again as my needs are better fulfilled with the Charcoal one. However, I would definitely recommend it for those with sensitive skin and those who want high-quality body scrub.

The texture on this is really good. I love the way it feels on my face or my skin smell smells wonderful great value very nice exfoliation.

Amazing scrub! My go to, been buying it for years now! Leaves your body extremely soft and moisturized! The only thing I would say is that I’m not a fan of the scent (or lack there of).

I needed a new scrub, and I bought this (less than two weeks ago) to try it out. I LOVE this product! Not only does it make your skin feel soft after you use it, but the skin looks firmer and healthy looking all day! It has a soft, clean smell to it, defiantly not overpowering. I would recommend this scrub to anyone!
