It is gentle, i use this twice a day. Does a good job of cleansing, not sure about whitening.

Very thick and rich foam. Only a small amount is needed to make a thick and rich lather. Rinses off very well and leaves the face feeling fresh and clean. I bought this to replace a gel facewash I was using that didn't do as well a job.

I was so surprised by the lovely soft, dense foam that developed when I used this cleanser. I wanted one that completely cleans my face, and this cleans my skin very well, yet doesn’t dry it out at all. It’s perfect for my 66 year old complexion. I’m ordering another tube.

It seemed to have moisturized my skin I use on my face

I was really looking forward to this cleanser but once I used it, my skin automatically started to turn slightly pinkish. It irritated my skin from the first use and I do have sensitive skin but I haven't had a rash from using any skin cleansers. It is very foamy and it would foam up once I rubbed it on. It's a good-sized bottle and would have been great for traveling. I gave it to my husband who is using it and it worked fine for him with no issues.
