CRESSI Pura Fins - Pocket Silicone Unisex Swimming and Snorkelling Fins

I read other reviews before choosing these ones, so was aware of sizing issues. The item purchased is advertised as size EU 43/45, however it just fits a size EU 43 i.e. my toes are at the end. The silicone makes it a very comfortable fit. The 'game-changer' bit is that when using them in the swimming pool, I could feel my ankles and legs changing into a better position immediately. Even though I am naturally flexible, the improved positioning was something I couldn't feel without using these. The increase in speed was enjoyable too, of course.

A real quality pair of fins, great bold yellow and black colour, they look quite professional. These are shorter in length than many fins, ideal for recreational swimming, snorkelling and as a diving training aid in a pool as an alternative to full sized fins. They come in a good storage bag and are an excellent size for packing in a case for travelling.Despite being a fairly rigid structure, the silicone itself is really soft. They are easy to put on and take off plus feel really snug and smooth on the skin, with no boot needed. My pair were listed as an XL 45 – 47. They fitted a UK size 11 foot perfectly with enough stretch in the (non-adjustable) heel strap to go a size or two larger with seemingly no problem. This size fin is exactly 38 cm long, 18.5 cm at its widest and with a 2 cm wide heel strap. My XL pair measured exactly 28.6 cm in length from the inside foot toe point to the start of the unstretched heel strap.These are a classy, good looking, comfortable, well-made product that can be used for numerous water sports. Highly recommended.

These are some really good multi-purpose fins. The silcone material is really soft against the skin and you can comfortably wear them without needing to wear socks with them. There are drain holes on the bottom which are big enough to allow sand and shells to fall free, but not so large that your feet fall though and the soles have large chevrons to give grip.They are stretchy and easy to put on and don't overly squash your feet. I like to have a very tight fit on my fins to transmit as much power as possible and you can get these really snug without crushing.They are short enough and flexible enough to be able to walk in, but long enough to get a reasonable amount of power without overloading your leg muscles. The bendy material gives great acceleration.Really good fins, I've used these for bodysurfing, bodyboarding, snorkelling and in the pool and they're great for all of these, but they don't float.If you want one pair of fins for every thing then these are ideal. Comfortable, effective and well-made.

I have recently done some scuba diving and had to use the diving school's fins when training. I realise these are not really for scuba (although would likely be fine for pool training/diving), but one thing I can say for sure is that the quality here is leaps and bounds ahead of those rental fins.They ooze quality and are extremely comfortable.They should be easy to pack in a suitcase, even in a carry on case for a short trip.
