Helps my dog
Good price, can be broken to sprinkle on food or given whole, seems to help my old dog keep flexible and natural product.

Good value and taste good!
Having five dogs, they all have this preparation, because prevention is better than cure.. Even the really fussy dogs have no problem with eating them mixed with their food.Well priced and so convenient.

These have worked wonders for my dog
My dog hurt his shoulder while running on the beach two years ago and walked with a distinct limp afterward. Our local vet was unable to resolve the issue despite costly x-rays, physiotherapy and laser treatment sessions for over 6 monthsWe eventually took him to the Bristol Veterinary Hospital where they suggested that we try these supplements. Within a few weeks of adding these to his food we noticed a vast improvement and now he is back to running on the beach and enjoying life once more. We continue to add half the original dose to his feed and he is thriving.

A good price, but undecided
Too early to say whether these make a difference, but was rather surprised to learn that the % Crude Ash per tablet is so high. Doubt I will continue to use on this basis.

After 3 weeks - I can see a difference - my Black Lab is not limping
These specific Green Lipped Mussels were recommended to me by another dog walker who had 3 dogs - all of which were senior that walked a considerable distance each day. On her recommendation (go to Amazon and it's the Green Lipped Mussel tablets in a dark blue pot), I came back home and ordered them immediately. I have a 12 year old black Labrador. She walks a good 3-4 hours each day, but sometimes one of her front legs, plus a back leg are stiff - hence making her limp a little especially on wet days. I recommend taking it steady with the dosage to start off with. I started off giving her the recommended dose - 2 tablets initially BUT this was a little too strong for her as she suffered from diarrhea. I reduced the tablets to just one a day for a week and she was fine and then increased it to one and a half the following week - again - her bowel movements are just fine. In the next few weeks - I will increase her dosage back to two tablets and I am confidence that she will then be able to cope with this. The difference in her after 3 weeks is significant - she no longer limps, plus from a laying down position, she can now get up with relative ease. I am VERY impressed with the results and have even gone so far as to order Green Lipped Mussels for myself from Healthspan!

green lipped mussel supplement
seems that she will eat them as a treat so easy to give them to her. hard to say if they work as I am using them as a preventive measure . my dog hurt her knee and if she has done a lot of running notice she was climing stairs a bit stiffly . she is only 3yr but a cocker spainial so dont want her to get stiff joints as she gets older . prevention is better than cure I feel .
