Does this product actually grow the hair and moisturize it or is it just shielding moisture in the air?

The product seals in moisture which can help with hair growth. It's a good product but I have low porosity, dry hair so now I use heavier oils like Castor and Olive Oil as a sealant. The Camille Rose Herbal Tea Seal doesn't seal in moisture well for me unfortunately but likely will work well for someone with normal or high porosity hair because it's light.

Can you use this product on children?

I use it on my 9 year old daughter. We haven’t had any nasty reactions & I like how it seals water in her hair.

is this product thin enough to be used as or included in a spray for distribution? (considering mixing with honey leave in and cocoa nibs??)

Yes this product will work well for that purpose as it is very thin.

Would this work with just the honey hydrate? Or would i need to to get the latte to. Because i just need to hydrate my curls and not define them?

When I combine the oil and honey my hair is super hydrated and unable to hold any definition. So, I don't use them as stylers, only for moisture and hydration. Hope that helps!
