You probably need this if you have a long extension cable as current electrical requirements are for cables over 10 metre in length to be fitted with an earth leakage circuit breaker unless connected to an outlet with an ECB. Connecting this plug with integral ECB is the same as connecting a regular UK 13 amp type plug and takes only a few minutes. A useful feature is the bottom cable entry allowing the cable to hang down, an essential feature when using the plug with a weatherproof socket outlet fitted with a lid. The small indicator is difficult to see making its effectiveness as a warning doubtful. The test button is easy to operate. The selling price makes this product value for money when compared with more expensive less versatile plugs with ECB. The product arrived on time and came with clear fitting instructions. The product was easy to unpack. Highly recommended!

My trusty extension cable stopped working as the circuit breaker broke. Just cut it off and wired this one on- now good as new.This curcuit breaker seems robust, made of good quality heavy plastic with shiny, quality screws and metal connectors inside. Does the job nicely and I bet it’ll last longer than my last one. Easy to fit.

Easy to wire up (if you can wire a plug you can do this) and unlike other circuit breakers it fits in my garden plug becase the pins are at the top rather than the bottom

A sturdy, well made circuit breaker, with wet proof sleeved connections, replacing poor quality masterplug.

i purchased this to put on my new welder, i had zero welding skills but as you weld out doors where you get rain etc and the welder is high current this made sense and its been perfect.

I have not used this as yet but looks well made, very solid so am sure it will be excellent.

With the plug at the top and cable entry at the bottom this device is ideal for my situation.

Excellent design and ideal for external power sockets used for gardening appliances. Distinguished colour too. I haven't put this to the acid test an assume it will trip out when it should.
