Vichy 48H Mineral Roll-On Deodorant for Sensitive Skin 50ml

I used this product for my dogs sore and crusty elbow. It worked a treat. It had been recommended to me for this purpose.

Very happy to get the opportunity to try this deodorant as I wouldn’t normally go for this brand. Good news is it smells lovely and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. That’s not revolutionary for a deodorant and should be expected, but some deodorants don’t always keep me dry.. or completely odour free, to be completely honest. For some (me), this is quite an expensive deodorant, but that’s relative. Some people might not think that way at all. I had a quick look online because I was curious and I saw some well known brands selling deodorants for nearly £50, so you might consider £12 quite cheap in comparison. Nice scent, keeping my dry and odour free, will likely last me a couple of months.. who knows? Maybe I will treat myself again.

This is an easy to use, good smelling rollerball deodorant from Vichy. The rollerball applicator moved freely so application is nice and easy. It does tend to feel slightly wetter for longer under the arms as the deodorant dries, but once good, I would agree with the unisex scent claims. It hasn't irritated my skin at all which is great, but in terms of longevity, it had started to fade by late afternoon and that wasn't with any form of vigorous exercise - the most I'd done was walk the dog. So it's a mixed end result. I liked the smell and that it was gentle on my skin, but the fact it couldn't get through a whole day, did somewhat disappoint.

It has no noticeable scent, rolls on easily and I've had no skin irritation whatsoever. It's effective too, lasting throughout my working day and beyond. Buy with confidence.

My other half says that this is quite a nice roll on although shes unsure if she'd pay over ten pounds for one considering there are many more choices available in supermarkets at considerably lower prices but she does say that the deodorant is quite effective and gives her all day sweat protection as well as not being irritating. She quite likes the mild scent and as also commented on how long it's currently lasted which is going on a month now without signs of running out. You can currently get a 15% discount at the moment for buying via the subscribe and save option but sadly not a one off purchase. I do think the price needs to come down to compete with other brands but it's good to see that this is also suitable for sensitive skin types. Pricey but effective.

I was pleased to see that this deodorant has no aluminum or alcohol in the ingredients. It isn't clarified in the listing but I can't see aluminum at the list of ingredients. However it does have fragrance in the list of ingredients even though the description says unscented. The scent is super mild, barely there and similar to perfume but I would have preferred it fully unscented. It is gentle on my skin and armpits don't go dry wearing it. It is effective up to some point, if I apply in the morning after a shower I do need to reapply in the early evening but it works well for a good 8 to 10 hours.
