I bought this to help my indoor sunflowers thrive. I started growing them earlier in the year for my kids when their school plants died. We're in NYC and had originally used wild dirt. In short NYC plants is pretty darn hardy considering the fact our dirt doesn't hold moisture well. I had to essentially water our sunflowers daily in the wild dirt.Cut to this bag of indoor soil, it's holding up well. It came to me premoistened with no pebbles and debris. It does have some tiny wood chips or sticks but it's not a big deal considering this is far better than NYC wild dirt.My sunflowers have been thriving. I don't have to water any where as frequently and I didn't have to enrich the soil as much as I did with the wild.Wild NYC dirt needed so much work to be ok for the sunflowers. I fertilized the soil, added dehydrated fish and spent coffee beans to help enrich the soil for the flowers. I didn't do anything with this brand of soil much to my delight.It's working well for my needs and will reorder should I want to start growing other indoor plants.

recently purchased this potting mix, and overall, I’m quite satisfied. The soil feels light, airy, and well-draining, which made planting very easy. My plants seem to be thriving so far, and the mix retains moisture without feeling too soggy.However, about a week after planting, I noticed some small mushrooms popping up in the pot. While it initially worried me, I learned that this is common with organic-rich soil mixes. The mushrooms are harmless and indicate the presence of healthy microorganisms. I just removed them and adjusted my watering routine to avoid overwatering.Pros:• Light, airy texture• Holds moisture well without becoming compact• Perfect for indoor and outdoor plantsCons:• Mushrooms may appear due to the organic material• Requires careful moisture management to avoid fungal growth

Every year, I plant a variety of flowers and plants in my classroom with my students. This year, I didn’t have time to visit my local nursery for potting soil, so I ordered some online through Amazon. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake.None of the plants or flowers sprouted. The potting mix had a dry, grainy, sand-like texture and didn’t hold moisture at all. When I dumped it out to reseed the pots with new soil, it was basically dust. Once I replaced it with a different, higher-quality potting mix, the plants started to grow as expected.Based on my experience, I do not recommend this brand of potting mix. If you’re planning to grow anything with your students or at home, it’s worth investing in a better quality product.

Great product!! You won’t regret purchasing this.I use it for a few citrus seeds and peach that I grew from the fruits. I will plant some garlic, scallions, ginger, and other herbs also; in this soil.Buy with confidence!

Dealing with a fungus gnat problem due to this soil. I don’t want to waste it but this is not ideal. Would have gone with a different brand if I knew.

I got these for growing micro greens. Works very well, good growth. Definitely recommend.
