Awesome kit, awesome price.
Gave my deck a little bath and the battery died on me. Was not ready to pay a 100$ for the "eye fix it kit", and decided to look elsewhere. Ordered this one prepared for the worst, and it blew me away. The included kit is nice, definitely not sub standard. The battery itself performs just as good as the of one, if not better. The changing process was a piece of cake, as the Deck is pretty foolproof if you know what you are doing. All in all amazing product, thanks China

It worked!?! (water damage repair story)
So I accidentally knocked my Steam Deck into a bathtub. Took the back off and set it in a large food dehydrator for a couple days. Put it back together and it wouldn't turn on. Well, it would only turn on if I unplugged the internal battery connection and kept the power adapter connected. I found this kit and took the gamble. It worked!!What's involved? You will need to remove the 4 long and 4 short screws in the back. This kit comes with tools and an instruction pamphlet. You'll remove a heat shield. There are 3 cables that will need to be unplugged. The battery connection slides out. The other two cables are just in the way and glued (lightly) to the battery: the audio ribbon and controller ribbon. These last two cables have a small clip that holds the cables down and in. You take a plastic tool to gently pop the flap up and the cable will slide out. If you've never done this, you may need to check out the ifixit repair page or find a youtube video showing how these connector clips work. You don't want to force it and break it. I've included a couple pics of a connector with the clip clicked up so that the cable can come out. When you put things back together, you just press the cable in and push the little flap down again to secure the ribbon in place. The old battery took me about 10 minutes to get out. I used a hair dryer and followed the directions the best I could. Basically, I wedged a couple of the black sticks under the battery and pressed them as far as they'd go while using the yellow tools to work from the top of the battery. It slowly came up and out. As it came loose, I continued wedging the little black sticks farther under the battery from underneath. The new battery gets secured in with double-sided tape (included) and the 3 cables are reconnected. It all worked. The battery was only at 1% when I first turned on the Deck, so you'll have to charge it. No issues at all with this kit or the battery.

Battery is working great, relatively straight forward to replace.
The battery is slightly smaller than the OEM.Replacement was easy, follow the website or the guide it comes with.I didn't use the adhesive to tape down the battery, instead I used the pads as cushions to friction fit it, the battery is about .5 mm too small on all sides. On first launch it worked fine but the Deck's battery meter was off, make sure to do a full drain and charge to recalibrate the battery (look how to do it, you have to do a full drain of the last few % using the bios menu). All in all, would recommend people try this option to fix.[update]Attached screenshots of the capacity, it seems the capacity tracking and other metrics are being doubled. I tried another one from the vendor and the 2nd battery had 95% health with 75 Wh to full which is also inaccurate. It seems the math is being calculated incorrectly by the chip (and the label).

Battery doesn’t fully charge
As you can see in the video, I don’t know if it’s going to post because it’s not showing that I’ve made the video but it says that the charge is full when I unplug it it’s only 91%, which is kind of disappointing. The only thing I can think of is that it is summertime in Texas and the battery just got hot and lithium batteries get hot the maximum charge lowers. Well, the battery lasted five months and then for some reason one day it decided to just die and won’t hold a charge anymore. Just stays at like 2% and if I unplug it, then I have to open up the steam deck attached the battery reattached the battery and then I’m able to turn steam deck back on battery will not charge anymore. So this is my third battery in five months I might just go by the steam deck battery. It has 10 hours of less playtime, but it’ll last years.

easy
The replacement was easy and the instructions were clear. The tools are very cheap and flimsy but they include everything you need (even backups in case one breaks) and are good enough to get the job done. Used it for a few weeks and nothing weird so far.

La bateria no dura mucho
Fue fácil de instalar lo único que no me gusto es que no dura la bateria.

Worked as expected
It was easy to install. I was ready to have to get some tools from work but ended up doing the entire job with the provided tools. It was really easy. I didn't hear up the battery with a heat gun to scrape it out. That seems sketchy. I was just very careful and slowly scraped away the 3m mounting tape until the battery was loose. The new one clipped right in and everything went back together perfectly and my steam deck seems to last a tad longer than when it was brand new. Would do it again and use this product if I had to.

Battery is not compatible
Originally got this to replace my steam deck so I can play longer, the problem is that you don't know what charge it has, it shows 0% when unplugged then 100% when plugged in, also says battery nan%.
