This little holder works and as stated by others, has a very strong magnet that is rubber coated to not scratch your tank. The only thing I wished was the makers had made the cradle deeper to more easily accommodate a phone with a case better. The spring on this is very strong but a little deeper would have been spot on. But to its value for holding your phone, it simply works and works well. I gave 4 stars but really it is 4.5 minus the .5 for lacking in cradle depth by 1/8" to my estimation.

The media could not be loaded.  I had the old style Freakmount on my old motorcycle. I forgot to grab it when I sold that bike, totally bumnrd me out. On my new bike, I went through a few different mounts and was never happy, but Freakmount changed their design to a metal instead of the old plastic design and really jumped up in price. I couldn't justify the cost in my head so went without. Then Amazon said it was on sale and I jumped on it.The metal is much better than the plastic was, and well worth the money. The magnet seems different, but I can't say100% that it is. It still feels like it will hold on at 100+ MPH though.I'm glad I went back to Freakmount. Glad they've made a great product even better. And glad I don't have to worry about my phone falling off my motorcycle.

This mount is ok. Price is a little excessive for what you’re buying.

Great little mount. Kept my phone right on the tank, even at highway speeds. I like that it is so simple and keeps my screen open to see and use it easily.

A couple of hundred miles using it, occasionally at 80mph, and works great!
