The radio quickly found all the local FM stations and did not include any areas of radio 'noise' that is not a station. AND, it is easy to then listen and dump those stations that you do not want. For example, you can individually delete evangelical nonsense, polka, extremist talk etc. easily.The earbuds are not so good, but they never are. A pair of headphones such as the Panasonic RP-HT21 (inexpensive) will give fine FM stereo sound at a decent price for any little radio. I am pleased with this very low cost and well made radio.

GREAT little pocket radio or " necklace " if you prefer hanging it with the included lanyard.Gets FM stations and automatically saves ( you can modify your own selection )AM is strong as well but cannot save.I highly recommend! I use it when gardening & bike riding. Headphones are standard " in ear " plug type.

I use the radio for background noise (news, sports, other talk radio) when I’m trying to get to sleep. For me, the sound quality is good, however, if you want high quality music reception, I doubt that you will be satisfied. FM reception is pretty good but AM reception is less so, especially if you’re around electrical interference. The sleep timer is great since I can set it for 15-90 minutes to turn off after I fall asleep. However, even with the sleep mode, I had to replace the 2 batteries after about 3 weeks (about 30-40 hours of use). For me, I would rate it as four stars, however, I rated it as three stars based on how I think it would be rated for normal use.

great FM reception, Not the best but very good. poor AM reception. if AM is important, buy something else. Lots of presets. easy to use the presets if are a channel hopper. the buttons are very easy to get used to. it has a sleep/scan button that is annoying. it is easy to accidentally hit the sleep scan button which seems to turn the unit off randomly. if the sleep/scan is pressed too long, it starts erasing your presets. i used a bit of superglue to disable it. it has no belt clip, so it gets lost in a pocket. it's size is such that the standard phone glue on clip doesn't fit so i bought a couple of key chain belt clips and superglued them on, making it a fantastic little radio.

Second portable radio I bought from this company. First one quit working after a few monthsand now this one isn't very loud and seems to struggle for any decent reception.

My kid wanted to be able to listen to music... and they don't have a cell phone yet. So, this was a good solution to tuning into radio stations. Unfortunately, the ear phones didn't hold up for very long. The wire became exposed, and we had to toss them. I'll have to get new ear phones.

I listen to the radio as I lay in bed at night. It was always a hassle to locate the station I listen to that carries "Coast to Coast AM". With this radio, it has a preset function that allows me to depress the om/off button and it comes on to the station immediately at just the correct volume. If I fall asleep it has a timer on it that automatically shuts off after a certain time so I don't run the battery down. Sound is OK, but it's a $10.00 radio and perfect for what I need. It was delivered the next day and was in perfect shape.
