Does the wire come out at the rear?

It requires to be hard-wired with suitable cable from underneath.

I currently have a samsung hob which has broken. Is the undercarriage of this a stand size or do I need to check it’ll fit into the gap already there?

We had to slightly adjust the size on one corner but fits ok
