A little overkill buying this set. I only needed 1 but didnt know which 1 though. Turned out the 10K resistance is what i needed to bypass a sensor on my vehicle. The brake fluid level sensor. My ABS and Emergency brake light would come on and off constantly and couldnt pass state inspection. I read the codes, and showed brake fluid level low. Reservoir was full. I replaced the brake master cylinder with reservoir cause they dont sell the sensor separately and a reservoir alone was about 85-90% of the combination. After replacing the light would just stay on. But brake system worked fine. I read an article about this for the same year and model and the sensors are a hit or miss. But some said the did the same but they couldn't remember if they used a 1k, 9k, 10k, 11k, or 12k. So i got this and used the 1k. The light went off and i felt victorious. but after about 5min the light came on. But i knew i was on the right path so i just used the 10K and light went off again and stayed off this time. Now i have a bunch of these and not sure what to do with them. I'll prob keep and never use them again. But for the price of these vs a technician troubleshooting or replacing the master cylinder / reservoir again to rebleed the entire brake system?........These would do just fine thank you and yes, will monitor my brake fluid level too. 07 ram 1500 SLT 2wd 4.7
