Helpful book if there's been a gap in your education and you need a refresher on research methods before diving back into your studies (I took several years off between doing my master's coursework and writing my thesis). I found the examples Brennen included with each chapter to be very helpful illustration of how the research method works in process. Before buying this book, I'd look at the table of contents to make sure the research methods you need to know about are covered, as there were a few such as comparative case I assumed she would include but did not.

Great book, but received and international version that is supposedly not allowed for sale in the US. Not as advertised and now I can't sell it back.
