Just follow the directions on the included card to reduce saltiness
As a few others have noted, these hocks are getting downvoted seemingly because simple preparation instructions are not followed. Soak the ham overnight in cool water. Replace the water every few hours. Most of the salt rinses away.I'd give 4.5 stars if there were such a thing, with the only negative being the relatively high "New York Strip" pricing.My bean and ham soup is delicious.

Delicious! Put one in two pounds of pinto beans for soup! That was the best bean soup I have ever made!

nothing to like about this product! Not salty not very meaty very very dry along with very poor quality not to leave out no value for money at all. DO NOT BUY YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I DID!
