The design, fit, and fabric content (wool blend) on this coat are fabulous! I got the black and when I got it I loved it, but noticed that the black looked more like charcoal grey. No big deal. I love it. I decided I wanted another color. Something more festive, like green. The green in the photo looked beautiful, vibrant and saturated. When I received the green coat, however, I was so disappointed to find that the dye job on these pieces is not saturated and that is why the black looked like charcoal gray. In the green, however, it just looks drab, so I had to return it. I wish they could make this coat in beautiful jewel tone saturated colors. I would want one in several colors. It’s such a great color. Sad! I am a size 18 and the xxl is perfect.

I purchased this in green, size medium. I’m 5’3”, 145 lbs. The fit is perfect, the color is beautiful, and the coat is very flattering. It’s a very good looking coat. It’s very well made structurally, and the fabric is warm and comfortable. It has good size pockets and a nice lining. It would easily be a 5 star item if it weren’t for the pilling. I’ve owned it for a month, and have worn it almost daily for the past two weeks. It’s definitely pilling under the arms, and is starting to pill on the front of the coat (especially where my seat belt crosses the coat) and around the wrist area. The fabric is heavy enough that I suspect it will hold up reasonably well to a fabric shaver, but I also suspect I’ll be shaving it frequently, which is a big disappointment.

This coat is SO worth $$. The green is beautiful and I get compliments every time I wear it. The cut is flattering. The sleeves are long enough for my arms. I am 5’9” and 154 pounds. The fit is tailored, but roomy enough for a sweater or hoodie underneath. The fabric feels soft and not at all itchy and is surprisingly warm. I couldn’t be more pleased and will probably order in other colors. I haven’t washed it yet, but have just brushed it off with a damp rag. You will not be disappointed!
