Excellent quality product, great alternative to being on crutches for 10 weeks!
Got this while recovering from foot/ankle injury and wearing a CAM boot for months. It’s great quality, solid construction. For me, this model with the bigger, pneumatic tires was worth the extra cost (compared to other scooters), as they rolled really easily and comfortably over floor and carpet and felt like they added to overall stability (I did not use this much outside, so limited to reviewing performance in the house and driveway). The petite size (KneeRover Jr) is definitely for small people! At 5’5” and just over 100 pounds, I feel like I might be right at the top end of the spec for the Jr version, but it still felt like the right size for me. If I were a bit bigger human, I think it would have been easier to tip over accidentally. The basket is really dinky, though — it seems scaled down with the rest of the scooter (big enough to keep phone, remote, water bottle, but not a lot else). I didn’t use the “training wheel” that comes with it, and while I did manage to tip it over once (due to pilot error), it was mostly stable without it. You just have to be careful how you move about. You really have to approach it like driving a little car (3-point turns are your friend in tight spaces), but it fit through most hallways and into doorways, which was helpful. It was easy to put together. One person could do it, though it helps to have 2 people to hold onto the parts while screwing in nuts and bolts. Others complained about the knee pad being hard, but I did fine with it for the most part (and my knees are not the best). I ordered the plush shearling cover, but ended up throwing it out because it was itchy, didn’t fit completely right on the pad, and made scooting less stable (would recommend staying away from that add-on — very disappointing. It was only like $20, so not a huge loss compared to the price of the scooter, but I’d say save your money for another solution). Overall, I was really pleased with the purchase. It’s not a cheap investment, but it’s actually great quality, so if you’ll be off a foot for a while and you want to be able to have hands free in the house to do regular tasks like cooking, laundry, etc., you’ll be getting good value with this product.

Awesome
This thing is great and worth every penny. I have been using it for several months and dont know what I would have done without it. Might suggest using the rear stabilising wheel, even though i didnt since it can tip over if you arent careful. If you have bad balance there are others with 4 wheels, but it hasnt been and issue for me, just a few close calls haha. Its small, lightweight and easy to maneuver. Knee pad is comfortable but still get a cover if for no other reason that sweet can make the material slippery. Works great indoors since it is on the smaller side, and can be used outdoors, but if you are looking at some serious off-roading you may want to look at the larger version with bigger wheels. I am 180lbs and it has handled the weight just fine. I also get a lot of compliments on it, the color is really nice.

Saved Our Alaskan Cruise – Highly Recommend!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. My daughter broke her foot just before our family’s Alaskan cruise and was completely non-weight-bearing. This scooter was an absolute lifesaver — from navigating airports to cruise ships to the rugged terrain of Alaska, it made everything so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in a similar situation. Our favorite features were the sturdy tires, which handled all kinds of surfaces, and the convenient basket for carrying essentials. Truly a game-changer!

Caution WIDE TURNS!
I gave this a 4 out of 5 because of the space required for this little gem. If you are planning to be NWB and only use the scooter you will have a somewhat hard time. The scooter has an extremely wide turning radius. I bought this for myself before I have my ankle replacement surgery. After the surgery I will be non weight bearing for a minimum of 12 weeks. I have been using crutches but they hurt and are difficult. This scooter is perfect for going outside, or in stores the basket is tiny so bring a backpack and a reususable grocery bag to carry stuff. I purchased this version because I am 5’1” it is pretty easy to put together and took about 45 minutes by myself. You will need to inflate the tires. When it comes to riding it, I feel like a kid again! It rides just like all the crazy scooters kids play with, speed increases quickly and any sudden moves could result in disaster. The brakes seem okay but I have been using a combination of my good foot and the handbrake. It is pretty hard to use inside my house with all of the furniture. However it’s s light enough that you can pick it up and reposition it, just be careful or you might lose your balance. It can be kind of “tippy” for turning. Inside my house I have been using my wheelchair, but everywhere else is the scooter. It’s easy to load into vehicles. Just fold the handle bars down, depending on the car you might have to take the handlebars off of the column but it’s a really easy fix. Overall this scooter is a huge help. The tires are bicycle tires so dirt driveways/trails are okay. It does have an extra “training wheel” that you can put on, but I left mine off. Good luck!
