These foam bags performed as expected.

Video instructions were pretty good! Took using the first of four bags to really understand how long I had and how it was going to work. Used that and then the other three to do a good job packing a big hot tub water pump in a 24"x17"x13" box. Would definitely use again.

Overall this is a good product that does what it claims for an affordable price, and for that they get full marks. Now that being said, I ordered 2 4 packs of the 20 X 24 size, and one of my packs out of the 8 was damaged when it arrived and would not activate / expand. It looked as if the pack had been burst in transit. This was unfortunate, but wasn't the end of the world for me since I only ended up needing 6 to pack around an item in a small wooden crate, but it did mean I lost out on one of the packs for future use. The only other note is that all the printing on the outside of the package is in what appears to be mandarin (apologies if that's incorrect). So there are no written english instructions and only the pictograms to follow for usage. That being said, the pictograms were adequate and I was able to figure out how to use the product without issue. The main issue with this printing is just that its all over the outside of the bag, so when in use it almost makes items packaged with the packs appear to come from China / overseas, rather than originating in the US. This may not be a problem depending on the application, but if you are going for a professional look you may want to consider the ULINE equivalent foam packs, even though they are significantly more expensive. If this look does not matter to you, these work well provided they show up undamaged. For these reasons I have decided to rate these packs at 4 stars. They are good and do work, but they may have issues in transit, so order extras just in case.

Worked as it should. Watch a couple videos before doing it. But it was pretty easy. I got the results I wanted.

Not much else to say. Worked well enough. Foam is a little tough after expanding so I don't think I'd use it for super super fragile things, but for stuff you want to protect it's pretty great, especially if you have a small layer of bubble wrap already around something.

The concept is brilliant as this product enables anyone to be able to do custom foam packaging without the expensive equipment for this type of job. Also, it works, so I was able to easily do it according to the instructions. However, the bags seem to fill out to their capacity with the hot gas resulted from the chemical reaction, but they do not fully fill out with foam like I've seen the ones done by the dedicated expanding foam machines. And believe me, I tried experimenting with slight variations of instructed process steps timing and mixing thinking that the ambient temperature might affect performance, but no matter what I changed, the resulted foam volume was pretty much the same. Now, realistically, there's always a price to pay for the convenience of these portable instant foam bags, so some compromise is acceptable, but it's a bit disappointing to see that the foam only fills out the bags to about half of their capacity. So, in this case, the volume you expect from these 16"x14" foam bags is only about half, or the price you actually pay is in fact double for the job, and they are not too cheap as it is even for a 100% yield. In my case, as a first time user, I calculated that this product should be more than enough given the bags size and quantity, but I ran short and could have used another 4 bags to finish the job. So, before buying, that is something you need to consider: -your total actual cost and also factor it into the actual volume you need to fill.

These bag do not measure up to my experience with another brand which would fill the entire bag to 1 inch thick let alone surround the bottom 1/3 of the item. I ended up using two on the bottom and two on top which was still marginal for protection.

It works fine, but it's not magic, so be careful, guys. Instructions are easy to follow, but because of the chemical reaction, you'll need to plan how you will pack your stuff ahead of time and be quick-thinking. worth noting that not all liquid disappears after the end of foam expansion. Not sure if it's the chemicals themselves or just condensation due to heat. In any case, be careful, as it can leave chemical burns, cause skin irritation, or damage packed goods if the foam bag is damaged or even pops if the foam has nowhere to go. attaching 2 photos of “testing” bags. Initially, I planned to use it for PC transportation. Still, after testing and identifying potential issues with liquids and the risk of component damage from expansion forces, and others I will not use it internally (inside a pc). And will advise against it. it external use is fine. ps: I am not blaming a product, i think it's great, just wrote my thoughts and review.

Kind of inflated, but nowhere close to as shown on the images. It may be user error and perhaps I needed a larger size, but it seemed that nowhere near enough foam expanded based on the size of the bag
