It was a perfect fit and a great product

Decent quality, much smoother movement than the aged and broken cables they replaced. However the one set only lasted two years compared to the original cables lasting about 20 years. Used to repair a theater seating set of 4 chairs so I needed 2 sets of the D cable with the oval cable opening, one set failed but the other is ok. Hopefully these last at least another 2 years. Seems they could use a bit of strain relief near the handle as the sheath broke and slid down probably a year ago on the two that now have many broken cables. Some extra protection likely would have avoided this.

I recently installed the KUANYUOO Recliner Sofa and Chair Replacement Cable, and while I can’t speak to its long-term durability yet, I’m extremely happy with the product so far. Replacing a broken cable was quick and easy, especially with helpful video instructions available on YouTube. The key to ordering the correct cable is measuring the exposed length—from the end of the clip to the end of the Z hook. It’s tricky to do this while the cable is still in the chair, so if possible, measure the old cable directly. I specifically chose this product because it’s adjustable, and the adjustment process was simple thanks to clear instructions in the product listing. Great product, smooth installation, and a perfect fit! Will update on longevity, but for now, highly recommended!

This was easy to install and seemed to be somewhat sturdy and reliable. We only needed one, so we taped the second one under the chair for future use in case the one in use ever breaks. I liked that the hole pattern lined up perfectly to the holes that were already drilled into the wood frame of the chair so I didn’t have to drill anything. You have to be super careful when ordering this pull-chord to make sure that you account for these critical variables: 1) the type of cable end matches your furniture machinery, 2) the length of the cable is as close to what you need as possible so that you don’t come up short or too long and have to hide the slack, 3) the travel distance of the steel cable inside of the cable sheath is precisely aligned to what is needed to release the footrest, 4) the hole pattern matches the cable you are replacing (not so critical, I guess), and 5) the handle is reachable from your sitting and upright position.

After several attempts finally got the right one. Now all my recliners work and can continue to take the abuse of 6 kids again. It was super easy to install. Gett the old clip off was a challenge.

Exact replacement for a Lane recliner. I used the 27 in, 2.5 inch with a perfect fit. Took maybe 15 min to unscrew 2 screws to remove the old and replace the new. Very easy.

Br careful to measure the length and exposed ends of the cable before purchasing. It looked like the old cable, but was the incorrect size. The end opposite to the pull lever was not long enough.

After trying several other cables with little success, I took a chance and ordered these cables. They took a few weeks to come, but were so easy to put in place and they worked great. Next time I'll go directly to this vendor.

Used this on two recliners that broke. I am not a handyman for sure, but I took off the original cables and measured it to make sure I had the right size - this is very important. I replaced the cables on two chairs in less than an hour and now they both work perfectly. I purchased my couch from the Chesterfield Shoppe and when I called for a replacement cost on their parts it was over $100. Although it took a little longer to receive the item from Amazon, it was well worth it. I'm glad I bought an extra set just to have as a back up.

Excellent replacement product. Too bad i a way you have to buy two. Not sur I will ever need the second cable!
