Handy tool that works fine.

This tool works for very little cash. If you replace a master cylinder you need this tool. Perfectly adjustable, and magnetic, which frees up a hand when measuring clearance.

I would recommend this to save all that silly time getting it right! Nicely made! Magnets make this tool work well. It did not come in a case, but, I'm placing it a plastic sleeve and not on the bottom of any toolbox. The inserted magnets hold on the booster and or steel MC. Of course it works on the aluminum MCs, but like anything aluminum, no magnet. Duh! :) I would recommend and buy this again if lost.

Didn’t work on my 2010 suburban. Was able to modify it by cutting out some of the plastic on the inner side so it would fit and then it worked great.

Maybe I missed it but, it should specifically state somewhere, if it doesn't already, what cars it does or does NOT work on. This thing did NOT work for my 2003 civic ... plus, the rod was slightly crooked when received

This tool is so easy to use and works great ! All you do is slide it into your master cylinder and lock it down with the finger screw, then stick it to your brake booster and it will show exactly what adjustment you need to do on your push rod. It has magnets on both sides to stick it on the booster. Great tool !

Game changer! Helped mechanic fix issues with poor installation of brake booster on my '03 Camry Solara. Had lots of issues with several mechanics who tried to replace brake booster (car would lock up, brake drag etc.) Finally decided to pick this tool up and gave it to the 4th mechanic who tried to fix the booster and it helped him set the push rod properly.

Does a great job to help get the correct clearance, should have bought one years ago!
