I live these energy gels for runs longer than one hour. The taste is slightly sweet not chalky but gel like. Although the instructions say you don't have to drink water after I usually do. It is effective in helping my energy levels with endurance runs. I also use them with long bike rides and long swims. It is a fair price for its use considering there are many similar products in the market that we can choose from. Easy to transport in your vest, short's pocket or any waist belt. Easy to open while exercising and easy to place back in a pocket if there is not a trash can near by.

Easy to open and consume while cycling. The flavor is robust and easy to swallow without added water. A boost of energy to help you finish your training ride strong.

I tried this for my 14 mile long run, and I loved them. I went off of the good reviews. I hadn't heard of their product before. The flavor was really good. I tried strawberry banana, orange mango and lime I believe. The consistency was perfect. I felt a energy boost every time I ate one. I played with the timing a bit. I took one 15 min before my run, the next at 3 miles, the next at 7 miles and lastly one at 11 miles. It didn't feel like too much and I didn't have stomach upset. Some I've used before would cause some acid reflux which was terrible. The package says 75 mins, but that seemed to long to me. I'll have to keep trying to get the perfect fuel times. *** I have been using these for maybe a couple months? I do love the energy boost, but the after taste is starchy and does make your mouth dry***

Love this product Gives me fast energy

I switched from using Gu gels for long distance runs to these. These are great, because they are not meant to be chased by water like Gu. They are very drinkable and not at all chunky or thick like other gels. The taste does take some getting used to, but it is not bad (it's not as tasteful as a Gu gel, probably because it's not packed with sugar). I find that these give me much better energy for runs, as they are not packed with any sugar, and don't give me a crash. The only caution is that the carb content is not super high, so for training for races like marathons, they may need to be taken more often than the recommended one every 75 minutes.

Taste and texture are weird with these flavors but the energy is unmatched!
